I thought Wiz might get off to a bad start, Celts been scrimmaging and shooting open 3's last 10 days and Wiz were in a battle vs ATL

Guess not!

2 minutes in and Celts already concede they can't have the extra shooter in, gotta go back to Amir.

Wiz +170 for series was as nice surprise. Wasn't expecting that at all.

Didn't get that at all. I thought if my guess was wrong it would be like -150/+130 but that was a lot of damn steam. Never know though, it's just basketball, not an exact science.

Unfortunately for my series bets, my friend in Vegas gets a lot of that action for me and he is in the wilderness until tonight so I didn't quite get to back up the truck as much as I wanted with this 1.

You got a great line, Harry. No way are the Cs worth 2-1. Not about to concede, but 2-1 is crazy. Overachieving teams eventually get brought to their knees. We'll see if the Wiz can do that.

What's crazy is I got it at my local's pph. His series lines and futures are usually pretty bad.

Should be a good series.

Doubt Kief gets back tonight. Rough loss. 1st foul trouble now injuries, Wizards just can't keep that lineup on the floor.

Oubre would give them a little more footspeed but he can't really shoot consistently. And now their atrocious depth gets worse.

The Gortat/Kief frontline was really tough for the Celts to matchup with. Couldn't play the extra shooter anymore, probably would've had to play Olynyk more which would've brought it's own problems.

And having to listen to Michael Wilbon for even 5 minutes is tough, how does this guy fade the layoffs?

It's just a way easier matchup for him than Millsap.

The injury did 2 main things (similar to rondo but prob more severe since wiz are actually good)

1. Allows celts to play more shooting/ spacing without giving up rebounding/defense.

2. Allows celts to hide IT on D much better.

Both those things are massive and celts way better when they can do both.

see post 63 lol, faded this a bit

Yea, killed us with no Kieff. Changed the entire game. Maybe they can play Marcus Morris

Also you gotta give Stevens his due, not every coach just pounces like an absolute bloodsucker when he sees weakness. He knows what buttons to push if their is a Chink in your armor. And I don't mean Jeremy Lin. J/k

When the C's were getting smoked early I wasn't the least bit concerned, seriously. This is the NBA playoffs, there's always a comback. It's almost as if the 1st three qtrs don't matter. Been watching this stuff since Bird was playing Dr J. Big leads followed by big comebacks

Celts starters got killed by the Wizards to start both games. So what Stevens did is he played IT vs the Wizards backups to get back in the game, I think he is gonna keep doing that and just hope Rozier/Smart can hold their own running the offense for stretches vs the Wiz starters.

I think Wall may have broken his left wrist, the same one that he hurt in 2015. And Bradley with a hip injury looks like.

Just got back from the Wiz game. Funny to see the bench warmers for both teams play the entire fourth quarter. Nice to see John Wall get some rest since he basically played the entire first 3 quarters. Lots of Celtics fans in DC @ the game, even getting a lets go celtics chant going....while they were down 25

Wizards don't lose @ home. Need to get the next one in Boston. Had a great chance in Game 2 and let it slip away. Need Beal to play like this again and we have a good shot

Wizards starters are +75 through 4 games when on the court together. When there is no injuries/foul trouble they're pretty much just dominating with that unit.

Getting Oubre back for game 5 with Mahimni back now could mean the bench can actually give them something for once.

26-0 run in 5 1/2 mins, don't think I've ever seen that before.

C's have to play tougher. I would love to see Rozier get more meaningful minutes, he's playing with moxie and toughness but he's always on the pine.
