I’m already down with you on that my friend got them at 10-1 to win the NL with 5 dimes about 3 weeks ago I hope all is well it’s been a while since we have spoken
I think they have fighters chance with all the hype and pressure surrounding the Dodgers in Tinseltown. And it does not hurt to have their rotation, but ugh, that Bullpen is bad. Will shoot you a text Bud.

And the string is broken thanks to Clayton Kershaw's continued lack of success in the playoffs. Not his fault this time as Martinez brought him in and he got the out he needed to get in the Top of the 7th. Why shoot him back out there to face the meat of the order in the 8th? I had the Nats for the Series and the Game and was giddy when he came back out for the 8th.
He is a Class Act and took responsibility after the game. He deserved better by his Manager. And the game was still tied when he left. It was a team loss.
as a nationals fan that game was amazing. dodgers fans should be mad though and not just about the pitching. dodgers never learned how to play small ball. didnt have it under mattingly and dont have it under roberts. when bellinger leads off with a single and then steals second in the 6th you absolutely bunt him over to third. your 9 outs away from the win, a run at that time is huge. baseball games in october are won with getting runners 90 feet and into scoring position. that would have immediately answered the run the nationals had put up in the top half of the inning. kershaw choked as well but you face worse criticism if you bring in someone else who does the same thing, people would have said you need to bring in kershaw at that time....in the end the manager has to help manufacture a run there and he failed to accomplish that.
Skins, i was having dinner with a friend watching the game.....and I told them the SAME exact thing. The LOST ART of SMALL BALL!!! This was such a key run and i kept telling him over and over, why not bunt him over, this is a huge insurance run!!! But nope, not just the Dodgers yesterday, but players/mgrs refuse to do it these days. You're a professional hitter and don't want to bunt your man over to put yourself in a better position to win the game? That's just bad baseball.
