Nats now 50-25 since I lit a fire under their ass on May 28. If they win the NL Pennant or World Series I believe I should get a team share and a ring.

Hope all is well TR.

Treading water in baseball Mosi but can’t complain.

Take care of yourself and good luck in your wagers :103631605

Nats in the WildCard laying 175 with Max on the Mound. Believe they win tonight and think with the rotation they can give a pressing Dodger team issues.

I think they have fighters chance with all the hype and pressure surrounding the Dodgers in Tinseltown. And it does not hurt to have their rotation, but ugh, that Bullpen is bad. Will shoot you a text Bud.

Interesting thoughts.....you can always have a chance with that great starting pitching. Can't wait for all these series to start today/tomorrow/this weekend. Exciting weekend ahead!!! Good luck, Mosi.

Good God this Franchise in the Capital is a joke. Bunch of high priced players who cannot show up in any Elimination Game or Series. Not even Harper's fault this year. Strasburg better settle down quickly.

And the string is broken thanks to Clayton Kershaw's continued lack of success in the playoffs. Not his fault this time as Martinez brought him in and he got the out he needed to get in the Top of the 7th. Why shoot him back out there to face the meat of the order in the 8th? I had the Nats for the Series and the Game and was giddy when he came back out for the 8th.

He is a Class Act and took responsibility after the game. He deserved better by his Manager. And the game was still tied when he left. It was a team loss.

It is sad that everyone but the Dodgers Manager and Kershaw knows what most likely is going to happen.....history not kind for Clayton in October

Although his past couple weren’t bad as I just heard

as a nationals fan that game was amazing. dodgers fans should be mad though and not just about the pitching. dodgers never learned how to play small ball. didnt have it under mattingly and dont have it under roberts. when bellinger leads off with a single and then steals second in the 6th you absolutely bunt him over to third. your 9 outs away from the win, a run at that time is huge. baseball games in october are won with getting runners 90 feet and into scoring position. that would have immediately answered the run the nationals had put up in the top half of the inning. kershaw choked as well but you face worse criticism if you bring in someone else who does the same thing, people would have said you need to bring in kershaw at that time....in the end the manager has to help manufacture a run there and he failed to accomplish that.

Skins, i was having dinner with a friend watching the game.....and I told them the SAME exact thing. The LOST ART of SMALL BALL!!! This was such a key run and i kept telling him over and over, why not bunt him over, this is a huge insurance run!!! But nope, not just the Dodgers yesterday, but players/mgrs refuse to do it these days. You're a professional hitter and don't want to bunt your man over to put yourself in a better position to win the game? That's just bad baseball.

its why october is great. 4-1 is huge, hell every run is huge in october. a manager like roberts should know that. one of the reasons i loved bochy was that i always felt like he could manufacture runs even with a team that wasnt good offensively. same with larussa, his teams made contact and put the ball in play to put pressure on the defense. teams that strikeout swinging for the fences always seem to falter in october but teams that are contact hitting teams and make the defense make a play always seem to benefit. i couldnt believe that moment, may cost him his job even though it probably shouldnt, just a bad move but one that proved costly.

Well, Martinez pulled this team together. The pitching was great, especially Stras. The hitting was great, and clutch. Rendon is going to get paid. He bet on himself and he will win big. Sojo has the opportunity to be a perennially All-Star if not one of the best ever. Turner is an eclectic lead-off hitter. And on and on with Eaton, Kendrick, Zim, etcetera.

To have 5 comeback wins in 5 elimination games. And they were trailing in 5. To win 8 straight road games to finish the year.

I was shocked back in May when I first posted. Glad it caught my eye, because ended up making a lot of money on the Nats 2019 Turnaround & Comeback Train.

Another year of Bases is in the books.

Cheers!
