How can you bet against an SC player? The media darlings. Not that I think either candidate is the best, but lets face it you play in LA for the defending champs on a team that might win it all yet again. You do the math...

Funny how it has changed back to the west coast getting some national ink... there for a while the Pac Ten players were at a disadvantage over the past 10 years or so, prior to USC's re-emergence to the top of college football.

Note how much better the NFL careers have been of the guys who finished number two, not number one.

As you can see the Heisman wiiner has very rarely been on a west coast team since the early 80's.

Just imagine if Ginn Jr. played on an explosive offensive team, or say a team like Boise State or Utah (last yr) ....against that competition, he would shatter all receiving records.

Watch out for Chris Leak in Urban Meyer's system. He will put up ridiculous numbers.

I hope Leak shows up this year Clipper...

I wish the guy was a little more 'enthused' on the field..he seems to be in a daze at times....he's a Junior now its his time to shine, Meyer will look like a genius but this team was very close last year....The Tenn game was stolen from them on a BS call...they didn't catch many breaks....look out for the Gators.

Anyone with half a clue knows with or without Urban Meyer, this Florida team is loaded. But like you said, he will likely get the credit. That team was so young and already a few plays away from being a title contender. This year is their year.

Its wide open after USC, the Gators could climb all the way to the top IMO...Leak reminds me so much of Charlie Ward, but a much stronger arm.

This year Bush gets the Heisman but Ginn Jr. was one of the most exciting player in college football last year and he can only get better!

Adrian Peterson.

I think Bush is great in his own right but split votes amongst him and Linehart will cost him. Besides the other guy (is it white?) at RB will cut into his stats.

Reggie Bush is another one...I think Leinhart will be overlooked some, after winning it...I doubt the committee would give it to him back to back unless its just overwhelmingly obvious.... USC is still the top dog so he will be sitting there in NYC

I see Ginn Jr as the most talented player in the nation , his position and teams lack of a great offense will hurt him for sure.... Tate, is definitely going to be there too barring injury.

Aside from the obvious choices Peterson & Leinart, I think Vince Young's going to have a big year.
