I’m not sure this shooting even occurred - I think it’s fake - just another attempt by the government to justify taking our guns - any takers? We have a huge conspiracy crowd here

They're scouring the internet looking, usually takes a couple of hours for them to "find the truth".

Alex Jones must be laying low. He can't afford to keep losing lawsuits, and since this happened in his home state, he might be fearful for his own well-being

lol that’s how ya do it huh?

Lol so just go full retard and kick the door in just like that. Don’t take any calculations as to what when where. So because somebody is a cop they are supposed to just be wreck less and bust in and be the bait to very possibly be killed while others follow up behind to try and take the shooter out.

Now before you say well ughhh yeah that’s their job and what they signed up to do, you are correct to a degree. However, nothing says go full retard and sacrifice your life just because.

Now if cops showed up at that school In 5 minutes and located where the shooter was, barricaded behind a closed door. and they had a ballistic shield if anything, and a way to get the door open without some dude standing their defenseless trying to break it down, then yeah I’d say the fools should have ran in. As I’d imagine they should of have some basic breaching and clearing a room training.
whatever...you seem to be the only one defending what was a total fuck up...including the cop who spoke for the department yesterday ... but you seem to know more about good copping.....naturally

You forgot to highlight the part that says! No first responder should Approach the mission with reckless abandon in safety. Isn’t that exactly what it is if they go full balls to the wall John wick into that door? Why didn’t you highlight that part?

Uncommon acts of courage doesn’t mean be a retard and Rambo through a door. Ain’t nobody marking 45k year to get lit up for no reason but to be called a hero at their funeral. This isn’t Delta Force, this is very limited skilled cops. They can type on a fucking piece of paper all they want about expectations of uncommon acts of courage and bravery, but nowhere does it say go be stupid.

Job is to protect and serve. Doesn’t mean be dumb and reckless and go die for nothing. Because that’s exactly what happens if Team Tropic Thunder immediacy goes busting in that door. Maybe save 3-5 kids and maybe cost 3-5 more lives (kids cops) also.
The job of protecting a serving was lost for around an hour while fucktards in cowboys hats did crowd control on families who were ready to answer the bell...Texas law enforcement looked feeble, cowardice and disorganized in this situation. Total fail and I won't be persuaded otherwise.

You are sure about that?
Pointless going around with you on this...we see this differently but I will say I believe you are in the minority on this.
The cops stopped fathers from entering the building, some did jump the line and retrieved their kids.
Lot of videos show cops holding a yellow line in physical contact with distressed parents.

Honestly I think it's time to show pictures of the carnage these guns do..maybe the public would actually wake up see the insanity of US gun laws...Or just blame the liberals.( eventually someone will leak photos of one of these)

Either way they want your guns this time fellas

Not sure why but it’s standard for the police NOT to let parents in during a shooting or a code red

probably causes more chaos and confusion?

in parkland 4 years ago, the only “parent” who was allowed in was a high ranking police officer who had kids in the school and a few police officers there personally knew him and let him in (I don’t know if he was in uniform or not but he was coming from work)

my son’s school was on a “code red” this week 1 day after the shooting (scary shit) . The school was surrounded by police who weren’t anyone in the school either. My wife had driven over there and had to park across the street. Just hung out with other parents talking about text updates from their kids.

luckily nothing happened and when the code red was lifted, school was over for the day.

The crazy thing is Bortac was only there b/c the shooter killed his grandmother first. When this was called in by law enforcement, Bortac was closet to the scene.

had he not killed his grandmother first, sadly we could have had more casualties
Here is one of the pieces of possible misinformation. I thought the same thing.

But I heard yesterday that althpugh he shot his grandmother in the head she is alive in the hospital.

There is way too much inaccurate info swirling around this tragedy.

Then I should have said “shot his grandmother” rather than “kill his grandmother”

I stand corrected.

but that’s why Bortac was out there

As it should be. You can’t have a bunch of identifiable people running thru the damn school during or even after.

It’s been a minute since you have had kids in public school.

they would have taken you down after asking/telling you several times to NOT go in

sadly

What if some kids was being killed inside the school every few minutes? Do you think your attitude would be different? Your behavior?

As I type this I'm thinking maybe the police officers didn't know some 20 people were killed at the time. That might be their one saving grace

On 9/11 I called my wife and said I wanted for her and the kids to come home. We were at war, didn't know what they were planning. Malls, schools, bridges.. everything was fair game to them IMO. She said they were all in the gymnasium together and school officials decided to remain there until the end of the day. I wasn't happy, If my wide didn't work there I would have taken them out.

In retrospect, they were right, but I'm not going to change how I feel in the moment.

Hey. I don’t disagree with you.

unfortunately, those are the rules.

sadly, kids (at least down here) practice code red drills.

security has gotten tighter here as well (since parkland). However this was the 2nd time (I believe) since Parkland that I have had a kid on code red and you want to vomit

Hey, we used to practice getting under our desks and putting our heads between out knees, because that was going to save us from a nuclear attack :)
