Do you you know what the difference between a charge and a conviction is? People get wrongly charged all the time. Do I think Smith is a scumbag piece of shit? Yes I do. But I can also see why someone would hesitate to act if they are hearing two contradicting sides to a story, especially when one of thos sides is basically coming from someone who is like family to you.
You can blame all you want. Zach Smith is a shithead, Courtney Smith isn’t exactly an angel in this case either. Urban could’ve handled it better, but people are human and make mistake. There’s nothing here that indicates he should lose his job, end of story. I’m glad he didn’t.

Zach Smith was arrested for battery on a pregnant woman after he brought a female co-worker home from a party and Courntey Smith went ballistic and shoved her. She was upset as most husbands or wives would if your spouse brought a boot call home to fuck. She declined to testify 8 days later. The woman was trying to salvage the marriage but he was arrested.

You can’t fire someone based on what you think could be true. You can’t prove that urban knew the extent of what was going on, that’s a fact. And that’s enough to get him off the hook. It has to be certain, like “urban 100% knew this, this this.

No dude. They want him fired for hiring a domestic abuser, ignoring the fact the cops had been called to the Smith's house 9 times, not firing Smith until the media reported on his abuse and lying about it at Big 10 Media Day.
Oh by the way, they want him fired for not reporting the alleged abuse via Title IX reporting requirements.

-It’s reasonable to question the credibility and motives of Courtney Smith to some degree based on Snook’s accurate reporting.
-It’s reasonable to think Urban didn’t know as much as people accuse of him of knowing
If Urban went out of his way to actively hide someone who HE BELIEVED was a chronic woman abused, then he should be fired. But I genuinely believe Urban was in a murky position and as a result, he made a human mistake in judgment. I think he’s a good guy who was too loyal to someone who he wrongly trusted and was like family to him. As a result he made a mistake, but shouldn’t lose his job over it
