Its not a large withdrawl but I know a few guys who were paid close to 10,000$ or a little higher from Rio very fast!

HTRC, do you really think it had to do with pool manipulation when your dealing with Rio,and there tiny horse limits. No way!Past posting is very possible.I predict Rio's horse time was off and this guy tried to take advantage of it.This is a guess!

Jimmy- I am not choosing sides in this matter UNTIL I hear all the facts that will be presented today by RIO.

Having said that, RIO has been a SOLID pay since 1996!!

I have been paid $10,000+ on a few occassions in the past by them in hardly no time flat!!

GH... I guess the point I was trying to make is that something suspicious happened with the horse wagers, he obviously wouldn't answer the questions I posted about initial deposit and types of wagers, and COME ON... even if he is locked out of his account, how could he not remember who or what he bet over a ONE DAY period, especially since he won. I would like to see anyone here who doesn't know what they bet during a one day winning stint with a book.

It just seems like a hit and run job, like you said he probably noticed the clock was off or had a friend playing there that made him aware of it, he deposits and hits (past posts) a big exacta, then makes 3 Dime sports bets to complete rollover and then tries to withdraw and get out before anyone notices.

May not be the scenerio but I think I am pretty close.

Mr.Jones I've been around a long time. And with your latest response,Im convinced its a past post situation.Rio's clock may of been off a couple minuites and you tried to take advantage of it.Good luck because this is a subject that is very touchy.Again Good Luck.

Why do you people keep making assumptions about BOTH parties when we havent heard even HALF of the facts yet???

Opinions are like belly buttons, we all have one. I didn't know there were "Fish Rules" and we had to abide by them.

regardless if rios time was off or he handicap the races, as long as the bet was accepted before the race went off, whats the problem? rio has to take responsiblity for their actions. Im sure they will correct it from now, but what choice do they have, besides to pay this guy and tell him to never play at rio again? I know i wouldn't feel the same about rio if they stiffed this guy because a couple of months ago, i had my little nephew over who was about 12, i had rios casino up. He thought it was an oline game, and he was betting Blackjack for real money while i was in the living room hanging out watching a baseball game with his father. He lost about $2,300 , but what could i do? I didnt even call rio or complain, it was my fault. I had to take responbility. Point is, RIO HAS TO TAKE RESPONSIBLITY, AND AS A SUPPORTER OF RIO, I HOPE THEY DO.

Fish... No problem man, I just thought it weird that he couldn't remember his picks, but as more info comes out its obvious the investigation has to do with the Exacta wagers he put it. Anyways hopefully this gets settled today and this issue is put to rest.

Rio has informed me that due to unfortunate circumstances, being a flight connection problem, the GM will not be able to report here until 9 Est (6 Pst).

I persume this is a joke, if it is not, its seems like a stalling tactic so he can play the baseball games tonight and lose LOL.

Miamiman... his account is locked so he can't wager any of it. My guess would be that as Greenhead stated maybe their horse clock was off and they because of that they can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he past posted.

The player knows this because he stated that the times of his plays are in are before the official times at DRF.. (funny that he remembers the times but couldn't post his plays here because the account was locked...lol)

Anyways if Rio can't prove it then they obviously need the GM to make the final decision to pay the guy and be done with it.

IMO I would say this guy pulled a fast one on RIO.

However, RIO should still pay him. If they paid Claude the Fraud and his 10 accounts then there is no reason not paying this guy. They opened a can of worms when they decided to pay Cluade the fraud.

If they don't pay him then the only conclusion is they paid Claude the Fraud because he brings hits to Marty's RX.

I read in a earlier post that rios time could of been wrong, but this all means nothing if the bet time was before the race went off. If rios clock was wrong, then thats their problem. they have to obligated to pay and in order for them to still get my business, they have to. Just like the TC bets situation where the guy bet finger lakes and they refused to pay him after a long time, i stopped playing with TC bets. If sportsbooks put up a bad line, have their clock wrong, or anything else i look it as their fault. Sportsbooks take advantage of bettors when they get a chance, so when they get the tables turned, they dont like it. I think we need to stop haraasing Smarty Jones- i mean randy Jones- because if it didnt happen to him, it would of happened to another guy. Rio is in a bad situation, but i expect them to do the right thing and pay. Bottom line, they accepted the bet, so they should pay. Little things like this can put a sportsbook on and off my football list this season.
