In my opinion, the most underrated pitcher of all time is Bert Blyleven...287 wins, 3701 K's, won 2 world series and the way things look right now, he wont even be elected into the Hall of Fame...:think2:

I agree he should be in the Hall and is underrated. I think his lack of dominance in any particular season has him under the radar. He never lead the league in Wins or ERA. Didn't throw 95+ and played on small market teams. Definately underrated.

maybe not all-around player but most definitely underrated hitter: Edgar Martinez. Please someone vote this man to the Hall.

The lack of dominance in any season is why he'll never get in.

Dale Murphy would be a good choice. Hard to see why Andre Dawson is starting to get so much new support for the Hall-of-Fame, but not Murphy; significant edge in obp and played a higher percentage of games in centerfield. The extra games played for Dawson came when he was contributing very little for Boston and Florida
