Last season, the dolphins who didn’t want to stand for the anthem would wait in the locker room (we would boo them as they came out of tunnel)

albert Wilson (1 of the guys who kneels) went to a veterans home today for community service and hung out with a bunch of police officers and veterans. These kneelers don’t hate America as some outlets will tell you

He has bucks now so this story will be working its way to the shitter. The story is dead so people should care about reality! ^<<^

The message was......I’m not supporting a system that protects actions from unlawful police. Eric garner, Alton sterling, Walter L. Scott. Seeing those incidents is why you got what you got.

You left out "hands up, don't shoot" which was a complete lie. So was the narrative around Trayvon Martin. Also, Kap wasn't in the NFL when the Sterling or Scott incidents took place.

LOL.

Also note: the "system" you're referring to has nothing to do with the American flag as it isn't some national policy.

So yeah, "the message" is just incoherent rambling fueled by lies.

Its amazing so many people are still clueless on what the message is.

Mob what is the message?

That cops target certain individuals?

I've said it before and will again.

A bad cop is a bad cop.

They are abusive & a$$holes to everyone, regardless of your skin color...

Since you quoted my post, you might read it. I didn't mention that he failed to stand for the anthem. Tried to be thoughtful in my comment and that included not telling other people how and why they feel the way they do because I'm smart enough to know. People who take that approach probably are pretty satisfied in being led by a guy like CK.
Another good post....its the shtick of some people to change what other people post or better yet, they just lie to try to make their own point.

The message is being delivered at the wrong time by the wrong messenger. That is what it comes down to. Players have endless outlets to protest or send their message, but they chose the most divisive way possible. Someone that makes fun of police and is pro communism is not the right person for that message. Hell, some of his own "brothers" in the NFL has abandoned him.

Correct!

Bad cops get punished, Walter Scotts killer got 20 years.
Other cases where the cops weren't charged unfortunately show the ugly truth to police work when someone deemed a threat resists arrest. They don't have a crystal ball, they're just reporting to an incident that another person reported.

How many of these incidents wouldn't happen if people didn't resist? Pretty much all of them. Some people are raised to fight, resist, and "fuck the Police". Their lives are built off anger, probably because the majority of them were abandoned as children.

I can't imagine being raised that way. Its a shame and a huge problem.

Has Kap ever addressed the statistics of children being abandoned by their fathers?? Maybe he has but I haven't seen it, or seen him really. Kinda disappeared a while ago.

Kap is useless. Terrible example of trying to protest something. Perfect example of the wrong way to protest with no meaning

I've been saying this from the get go. Still waiting for those other outlets to be used. Like maybe reaching into their deep pockets and putting up a billboard
or a TV commercial.
and maybe post on their social media account telling people that they plan a protest at City hall.

But No, they choose to pick the National Anthem instead

It’s getting redundant. I said what the message was. Those incidents that I named was the message....that’s why you got what you got. Everyone who doesn’t want to know the reasoning will keep asking what the message is.

It obviously bothers you guys. But it only bothers you guys because it creates attention. You only want it to go to billboard or a different avenue so there is less of it.

Which is the wrong attitude to have honestly. Like I have stated many many times. Why protest like you are a normal citizen when you are not? I don’t think one manager/agent would advise that.

But honestly you you guys are complaining and upset over TWO people kneeling. TWO.

But why cant you do both? Why can’t you kneel AND do justice in your community?

It also has already been proven that Kenny Stills does a lot in his community and continues to protest on a national level.

No protest has ever reached the level it has with this. Which means they are accomplishing something....even if it is as little as your attention and discussions. Does that happen if the protest is on a billboard and no one is talking or discussing? Lmao it might be one of the best protest of all time, all things considered. What is the goal of a protest? - is what you guys should be asking. Not...”what are they protesting, does anyone know.” You can be stupid or elegant, it’s really your choice.

Since there is no national policy regarding police shootings, the idea that you would kneel for the national anthem because of it is silly and absurd.

If "the system" that is in question here is the criminal justice system, then the correct response is to lobby your state legislature, not protest the flag.

The fact of the matter is that the reason why police officers have so many protections is because it is codified in state statutes. Which has noting to do with the anthem, the flag, or any policy.

Of course the other thing here is the fact that blacks aren't any more likely to be shot than whites.

If they aren’t more likely than that’s even more of a reason why players should be protesting lol. Because....why is it happening when someone is running away for not paying child support? Shot in the back, dead. Too many donuts for the cop that morning? Didn’t feel like running? Not an excuse.

Why did they they need to strangle the fat man and he’s yelling I can’t breathe and they continue to cut off his air and kill him.

What about the time the black kid is laying flat on the ground and gets shot in the back because the cop thought he was using his taser when he really pulled his pistol(dumbass)

Obviously the list goes on. The system in question is the police system. There is no winning vs those corrupt fucks in congress. Doing it at the ground level, holding police accountable and calling them out is unfortunately the only way. Think about it.... who holds police accountable? Their police commissioner who also is corrupt as fuck. You have to hold them accountable. Only way a change will be made.

This has nothing to do with Congress and I didn't say Congress.

What, exactly, about kneeling for the National Anthem is "holding police accountable"?

What does that phrase mean?

Why are you pretending unarmed white people aren't shot dead by police?
