A lot of racist assholes in this forum. A lot.

When you cant think of a rebuttal, or you cant admit you are on the wrong side of the argument... just scream "RACIST"

Only 2 kneelers out of the bunch.

I can deal with 2.

Not a problem.

1 guy kneeling is Kenny Stils. He kneels for Kap and Eric Reed not being in the NFL. Stills is a team captain and does a lot of work in the Miami community.

Tne other guy is albert Wilson. He is from fort pierce / st Lucile area. A few years ago, his friend (unarmed) was killed by cops. He is protesting that.

These peiple who kneel dont hate America. They are protesting a cause. I believe in freedom of speech but also think the players should stand for the anthem

They need to find another way to protest. And while we are talking about itq, I dont want hear they are protesting that police kill black men because that is a bunch of bs.

Why didn't Kap kneel when he was a starter?

I could be wrong, but it seems to me he started while riding the bench.

I think we all do fins.

But to a certain extent.

It's like a dog biting the hand that feeds it.

You don't protest & disrespect what gave you the right to freedom of speech to begin with.

Could be the motto of the 9/11 hijackers. Happy Anniversary from Nike.

Except right after 9/11, I've never seen so much interest in the anthem. Kap is getting his message out.

Was that message "Don't Vote?" He didn't. Was the message disrespect the police? He wore socks with police depicted as pigs. Don't forget the origins of his message...he met a girl in SF who had this ideology and he adopted it. That, I guess, makes him a spokesman for a generation. Marshawn Lynch has done far more for his community, let his thoughts be known, plays the game and actually has a sense of humor and a sense of self. Who's the hero and who is the self-appointed representative of the dumbfounded?

Lynch is a great guy. Why do we have to judge ones character by whether or not they stand for the flag or not? Lynch says he rarely has ever stood for the flag. He does it when he wants to. Kenny stills still knees and still does a ton in his community.

The message was......I’m not supporting a system that protects actions from unlawful police. Eric garner, Alton sterling, Walter L. Scott. Seeing those incidents is why you got what you got.

Its amazing so many people are still clueless on what the message is. But you know and I know that you are choosing to not hear the message because it doesn’t affect you in any which way. So why should you care? I’m not black, why do I care? I care because they are public servants who work for the public and took an oath to protect and uphold my constitutional rights. But they don’t do that. That oath means jack shit to a lot of cops. Lot of them don’t even look at it as they are public servants and that we pay for their vehicles and salaries. They need to be talked down to if they approach with attitude.

The owners should just make the kneeling players remain in the locker room during the anthem. That is what offends people. Have them kneel during the coin toss or opening kickoff.

It's not that hard and it would be a win-win for everyone

Since you quoted my post, you might read it. I didn't mention that he failed to stand for the anthem. Tried to be thoughtful in my comment and that included not telling other people how and why they feel the way they do because I'm smart enough to know. People who take that approach probably are pretty satisfied in being led by a guy like CK.
