Preview: Dodgers at Indians
GAME: Los Angeles Dodgers (39-25) at Cleveland Indians (31-29)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 7:10 PM EST
WHERE: Progressive Field, Cleveland, Ohio
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers are in similar positions as they begin a three-game interleague series in Cleveland on Tuesday in what could be a World Series preview. The teams stand second in their divisions - the Indians are right behind Minnesota in the American League Central while the Dodgers are hot on the heels of Colorado in the National League West - with Cleveland (31-29) still searching for consistency and Los Angeles (39-25) tied for the third-most wins in baseball.

The series features the two best bullpens in baseball and each club sends out a former Cy Young Award winner as the Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw is scheduled to pitch Tuesday and the Indians' Corey Kluber takes the ball Wednesday. Los Angeles could be without first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who left Sunday's game because of back tightness - he made his first career trip to the disabled list earlier this season with a back strain - and was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday. Cleveland is 1-7 in interleague games this season, including 0-5 versus NL West teams Arizona and Colorado, while Los Angeles plays the AL for the first time. Kershaw is tied for second in the majors with eight victories after winning four straight decisions and opposes Trevor Bauer, who had a three-decision winning streak snapped in his last outing.

TV: 7:10 p.m. ET, SportsNet LA (Los Angeles), STO (Cleveland)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Dodgers LH Clayton Kershaw (8-2, 2.20 ERA) vs. Indians RH Trevor Bauer (5-5, 6.10)

Kershaw allowed one run, three hits and three walks while striking out nine in seven innings of a 2-1 victory over Washington on Wednesday. The 29-year-old Texan, who is among the major league leaders in ERA, WHIP (0.90) and strikeouts (101), has permitted two or fewer runs in 10 of his 13 starts this season. Kershaw, who took a no-decision in only start versus Cleveland during his rookie season of 2008, is 12-4 with a 2.22 ERA in 28 interleague starts.

Bauer yielded four runs, five hits and five walks in 3 1/3 innings of an 8-1 loss in Colorado on Wednesday in his second-shortest outing of the season. The 26-year-old Californian was 3-0 with a 3.86 ERA in his previous five turns, which included a start that was cut short at 1 2/3 innings because of a rain delay in a game the Indians eventually won 8-0 in Kansas City on June 4. Bauer is 7-4 with a 3.03 ERA in 18 interleague games (17 starts), including 1-0, 2.31 in two turns versus Los Angeles.

WALK-OFFS

1. Indians LHP Andrew Miller has the lowest ERA among major league relievers at 0.29, allowing one earned run in 31 1/3 innings this season.

2. Dodgers RHP Kenley Jansen earned his 200th career save Sunday, becoming the sixth active pitcher to reach that plateau (Francisco Rodriguez, Huston Street, Fernando Rodney, Craig Kimbrel and Joakim Soria).

3. Cleveland SS Francisco Lindor (.259 batting average) snapped an 0-for-11 slide Sunday, bringing his June average to .167 after hitting .309 in April and .245 in May.

Preview: Athletics at Marlins
GAME: Oakland Athletics (27-36) at Miami Marlins (27-35)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 7:10 PM EST
WHERE: Marlins Park, Miami, Florida
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Oakland Athletics are struggling to find quality pitching and are losers of four of their last five games. The Miami Marlins, who host the Athletics in the opener of a two-game interleague series on Tuesday, are feasting on struggling pitching staffs of late.

The Marlins had a string of four straight games scoring six or more runs come to an end in a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday but still got some pop out of the lineup when ageless wonder Ichiro Suzuki cranked a home run in the eighth. Miami is getting power from several unexpected sources and watched backup first baseman Tyler Moore hit a pair of home runs on Friday before catcher J.T. Realmuto and infielder Derek Dietrich went deep on Saturday. The Oakland staff is stingy with the home run ball, ranking 11th in the AL in home runs allowed (73) entering the week, but yielded a total of 33 runs in dropping four of the last five games. Trying to turn that around for Oakland on Tuesday will be right-hander Jharel Cotton while the Marlins counter with Jose Urena.

TV: 7:10 p.m. ET, NBCSN California (Oakland), FSN Florida (Miami)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Athletics RH Jharel Cotton (3-6, 5.20 ERA) vs. Marlins RH Jose Urena (4-2, 3.96)

Cotton has not won since being inserted back into the rotation on May 27 and allowed four runs on four hits and four walks in six innings against Toronto on Wednesday without factoring in the decision. The 25-year-old issued a total of 11 walks in 17 1/3 innings over his last three outings. Cotton is making his first career interleague start.

Urena struggles to work deep into games as well but earned the win in three of his last four starts despite failing to record an out in the sixth inning of any of those contests. The Dominican Republic native allowed three runs on three hits and three walks in five innings at the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday but earned the win as the Marlins grabbed a 6-5 triumph. Urena made one previous start against Oakland on May 23 and was rocked for six runs and four hits in five innings but still ended up with a win.

WALK-OFFS

1. Marlins RF Giancarlo Stanton (wrist) was limited to pinch-hitting duty on Sunday but is expected to be back in the starting lineup on Tuesday.

2. Oakland rookie LF Jaycob Brugman is 6-for-12 over the last three games.

3. Miami LF Marcell Ozuna scored six runs in the last five games.

Preview: Phillies at Red Sox
GAME: Philadelphia Phillies (21-41) at Boston Red Sox (35-28)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 7:10 PM EST
WHERE: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Philadelphia Phillies haven't been very successful this season regardless of venue, but even more so on the road with a majors-worst 9-27 mark away from Citizens Bank Park. After seeing an early four-run lead result evaporate into an extra-inning loss in the opener, the Phillies look to snap a season-high six-game losing skid on Tuesday when they continue their four-game, home-and-home series against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Dustin Pedroia recorded his third straight mult-hit performance after plating pinch-runner Deven Marrero with an RBI single in Monday's 6-5 win in 11 innings. The 33-year-old Pedroia is 6-for-13 with four RBIs and as many runs scored in his last three contests for the Red Sox, who have won 14 of their last 21 to keep the heat on the American League East-leading New York Yankees. Philadelphia's Tommy Joseph had a two-run single to extend his hitting streak to eight games, during which he is batting 12-for-34 with seven RBIs during that stretch. Odubel Herrera continues to excel despite the Phillies' pronounced troubles with 13 extra-base hits, 11 RBIs and nine runs scored during his 11-game hitting streak.

TV: 7:10 p.m. ET, CSN Philadelphia, NESN (Boston)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Phillies RH Ben Lively (1-1, 2.57 ERA) vs. Red Sox LH David Price (1-1, 5.29)

Lively has worked seven innings in each of his first two starts in the majors, becoming the first Philadelphia pitcher to accomplish the feat since Carlton Loewer in 1998. Three of the four total runs the 25-year-old allowed came in Thursday's 3-1 setback at Atlanta, in which he worked around nine hits and kept the ball in the park for the second straight outing before absorbing his first loss. "The first inning I was pumped up too much, but after that I settled down and started feeling pretty good," said Lively, who permitted two runs in the opening frame.

Price will get his first look at Philadelphia since pitching for Tampa Bay in 2012, but has kept Michael Saunders (.200), Daniel Nava (.118) and Howie Kendrick (.071) under wraps. The 31-year-old Price struggled mightily in his last outing Wednesday, allowing six runs on eight hits in five innings of a 9-1 setback at the New York Yankees. Price was taken deep twice by Gary Sanchez and surrendered four walks while making just his third start of the season.

WALK-OFFS

1. Boston 1B Mitch Moreland has seven RBIs and seven runs scored during his seven-game hitting streak.

2. Nava, who began his career with the Red Sox, is 5-for-11 in his last two contests.

3. Boston LF Andrew Benintendi is 5-for-13 with five RBIs and three runs scored in his last three games.

Preview: Rangers at Astros
GAME: Texas Rangers (31-32) at Houston Astros (44-21)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 8:10 PM EST
WHERE: Minute Maid Park, Houston, Texas
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Houston Astros have been the class of the majors for much of the season, although the good feelings surrounding an impressive 11-game winning streak have given way to the disappointment after losing five of their last seven. The suddenly sputtering Astros look to get back on track Tuesday, when they host the Lone Star State-rival Texas Rangers for the second contest of their three-game series.

Alex Bregman's RBI single in the fifth inning accounted for the first of his team's two hits in Monday's 6-1 setback, which was just the second loss in eight meetings with the Rangers this season. Carlos Beltran scored on Bregman's base hit, but the 40-year-old is mired in a 3-for-30 slump over his last seven games. Texas' Nomar Mazara launched a three-run homer to extend his RBI streak to six contests but is just 1-for-5 in a small sample size versus Tuesday starter Brad Peacock. The Rangers have found their offense with 22 runs during their four-game winning streak, helping the club move within one victory of .500.

TV: 8:10 p.m. ET, FSN Southwest (Texas), ROOT (Houston)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Rangers RH Nick Martinez (1-3, 4.88 ERA) vs. Astros RH Brad Peacock (3-1, 3.15)

Martinez draws the start after allowing one hit in 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief versus Houston on June 4. A fine performance to be certain for the 26-year-old, who yielded at least three runs in six of his previous seven outings - and 11 homers during that stretch. Martinez owns a 3-2 career record and 3.28 ERA against the Astros.

Peacock will draw the nod on three days' rest after Tuesday's scheduled starter, Lance McCullers Jr., was placed on the disabled list due to lower back discomfort. The 29-year-old Peacock recorded season highs in both strikeouts (nine) and innings (six) on June 4 in a 7-2 victory over the Rangers, marking his first win in a major-league start since Sept. 2, 2014. Peacock returned to the mound on Friday with less-than-stellar results, allowing four runs for the second time in three outings while issuing four walks over three innings of a 9-4 setback against the Los Angeles Angels.

WALK-OFFS

1. Texas SS Elvis Andrus saw his 15-game hitting streak come to an end in the opener but extended his run-scoring string to four contests.

2. Houston SS Carlos Correa, who recorded the team's other hit on Monday, is just 4-for-28 in his last seven gamess.

3. Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre has hit safely in nine of his last 10 contests.

GAME: Baltimore Orioles (31-31) at Chicago White Sox (27-35)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 8:10 PM EST
WHERE: Guaranteed Rate Field, Chicago, Illinois
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Baltimore Orioles' massive freefall is getting more pronounced by the day, as the beleaguered club has dropped 21 of its last 30 contests and been outscored 54-16 during its five-game losing streak. After falling to .500 for the first time this season with their 21st loss in 31 road games, the Orioles look to take steps to right the ship on Tuesday in the second contest of their four-game series against the host Chicago White Sox.

While Baltimore doesn't have much for which to crow, Trey Mancini continued his hot streak against Chicago by belting a three-run homer in Monday's 10-7 setback. The 25-year-old is 7-for-11 with two homers and seven RBIs versus the White Sox this season but will get his first look at Derek Holland on Tuesday. While Baltimore is plummeting, American League Central cellar-dwelling Chicago isn't faring much better with just three wins in its last 12 contests. Avisail Garcia celebrated his 26th birthday by recording his fifth multi-hit performance in his last eight games in the opener and has recorded two homers, eight RBIs and six runs scored in that stretch.

TV: 8:10 p.m. ET, MASN2 (Baltimore), CSN Chicago

PITCHING MATCHUP: Orioles RH Alec Asher (2-4, 4.35 ERA) vs. White Sox LH Derek Holland (4-6, 3.99)

Asher has struggled mightily since rejoining Baltimore's rotation on May 28, allowing 13 earned runs over 12 1/3 innings in his last three starts. The 25-year-old was blitzed for five runs and seven hits in four frames of a 6-1 setback at Washington on Thursday, with four walks and a 41-pitch first inning driving up his pitch count. Asher pitched much better in his previous outing against the White Sox on May 7, scattering five hits over 3 1/3 scoreless innings.

Holland saw his losing streak extend to three games on Wednesday, and his penchant for surrendering homers played a significant role in that. The 30-year-old was taken deep three times for the second straight outing as he yielded six runs in 4 2/3 innings of a 7-5 setback at Tampa Bay. Holland, who has allowed 11 homers in his last six trips to the mound, also has issued 17 walks in that span.

WALK-OFFS

1. Baltimore 1B Chris Davis' availability for Tuesday's tilt is in question after he exited the opener in the third inning with a strained right oblique muscle.

2. Chicago LF Melky Cabrera has recorded three-hit performances in two of his last three games and multi-hit efforts in five of his last eight.

3. Orioles 2B Jonathan Schoop is 11-for-30 with three homers, eight RBIs and seven runs scored in his last eight games.

GAME: Seattle Mariners (32-33) at Minnesota Twins (32-28)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 8:10 PM EST
WHERE: Target Field, Minneapolis, Minnesota
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

Having navigated a successful 10-game road trip to open the month of June, the Minnesota Twins returned to Target Field for the opener of a 10-game homestand only to see a brutal trend continue. The Twins look to end an ugly home losing streak when they play the second contest of their four-game series against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday.

Minnesota was bludgeoned by the Mariners 14-3 on Monday and has been outscored by a staggering margin of 62-25 during a five-game slide at Target Field. The Twins capped their 6-4 road trip with a 13-8 loss at San Francisco on Sunday, and their pitching staff has been ravaged for 27 runs and 36 hits in the last two games. Seattle had scored a combined seven runs in its previous four games before breaking loose against Minnesota, getting four RBIs from Nelson Cruz and a combined two homers, five hits and five RBIs from Danny Valencia and Mike Zunino. The Mariners, who won two of three against the Twins in Seattle last week, send Christian Bergman to the mound to face Kyle Gibson in a rematch from their duel on Thursday.

TV: 8:10 p.m. ET, ROOT (Seattle), FSN North (Minnesota)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Mariners RH Christian Bergman (3-3, 4.03 ERA) vs. Twins RH Kyle Gibson (3-4, 6.52)

Bergman has bounced back in strong fashion since being hammered for 10 runs and 14 hits at Washington on May 23. The 29-year-old won his next two starts by surrendering two runs over 13 innings in victories over Boston and Tampa Bay, but he lost to the Twins on Thursday despite permitting one earned run in five frames. Bergman is allowing right-handed batters to hit .321 against him.

Gibson had a disastrous first month, posting an 0-4 record and 8.20 ERA over his first six starts of the season before landing on the disabled list. He won his first start after returning from injury, albeit in shaky fashion, but followed that with three strong outings - including six innings of one-run ball at Seattle last week. Gibson is 3-2 with a 2.72 ERA against the Mariners.

WALK-OFFS

1. Mariners RF Mitch Haniger recorded four hits and scored four runs in his second game since coming off the disabled list.

2. The Twins selected high-school SS Royce Lewis with the No. 1 pick in the major-league draft.

3. Mariners 3B Kyle Seager is 7-for-18 with two homers and seven RBIs in four games versus the Twins this season.

GAME: Milwaukee Brewers (33-31) at St. Louis Cardinals (29-32)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 8:15 PM EST
WHERE: Busch Stadium, St. Louis, Missouri
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Milwaukee Brewers are just two games over .500 but still sit atop the National League Central. The St. Louis Cardinals are used to being on top in the division and will try to chip away at their deficit when they host the Brewers for a day-night doubleheader on Tuesday to kick off a four-game series.

Milwaukee entered the week as the only team in the NL Central with a winning record despite opening a seven-game road trip by dropping two of three at Arizona. The Brewers' success this season is a surprise to some but not St. Louis manager Mike Matheny, who praised Milwaukee when given the chance. "They're a good team," Matheny told reporters of the Brewers. "They have some pop. They're a dangerous club. They've got guys all the way through the lineup that can hurt you in a hurry and they have some pitching that has come around and a bullpen that's filled holes, and they're playing with confidence." The Cardinals dropped seven straight prior to the weekend but got back on track with a three-game sweep of Philadelphia to start a seven-game homestand.

TV: 8:15 p.m. ET, FSN Wisconsin (Milwaukee), FSN Midwest (St. Louis)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Brewers RH Paolo Espino (0-0, 5.63 ERA) vs. Cardinals LH Marco Gonzales (2015: 0-0, 13.50)

Espino is making his third major-league start and is looking to complete more than four innings for the first time. The 30-year-old was reached for a pair of home run in four innings against San Francisco on Thursday but limited the damage to three runs. Espino was 4-1 with a 3.26 ERA in nine starts for Triple-A Colorado Springs before being recalled.

Gonzales is making his first major-league appearance since 2015 after missing all of 2016 following Tommy John surgery and beginning the season with Triple-A Memphis. The 25-year-old was 4-2 with a 4.82 ERA in 11 games - six starts - prior to the injury. Gonzales is 1-3 with a 3.26 ERA in five starts with Memphis in 2017.

WALK-OFFS

1. Cardinals C Yadier Molina (back) missed the last three games but is expected to start one of the games on Tuesday.

2. Milwaukee's top prospect OF Lewis Brinson made his major-league debut on Sunday and went 0-for-2 with a pair of walks and a stolen base.

3. St. Louis claimed LHP Sean Gilmartin off waivers from the New York Mets on Sunday and assigned him to Triple-A Memphis.

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 10:07 PM EST
WHERE: Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Anaheim, California

The New York Yankees saw one streak come to an end but continued another by defeating the Los Angeles Angels in the series opener. New York goes for its seventh consecutive victory when it visits Los Angeles on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game set.

The Yankees posted a 5-3 triumph on Monday, halting its string of five straight contests with at least eight runs scored. Aaron Judge's offensive assault continued, however, as the reigning American League Player of the Week extended his home-run streak to three games with his fourth blast in that span - and major league-leading 22nd of the season. The 25-year-old rookie has gone 9-for-12 with eight RBIs over his last three contests and registered five multi-hit performances in his last seven games. Los Angeles' Kole Calhoun belted a solo homer in the loss, giving him 14 RBIs in 11 contests this month. The blast was one of only five hits for the Angels, who fell to 1-7 against New York since the start of last season and have lost four of five at home in June.

TV: 10:07 p.m. ET, YES (New York), FSN West (Los Angeles)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees LH CC Sabathia (7-2, 3.66 ERA) vs. Angels RH JC Ramirez (6-4, 4.33)

Sabathia looks to win his sixth consecutive start after scattering five hits over eight scoreless innings against Boston on Wednesday. The 36-year-old Californian has worked at least six frames four times during the winning streak and has allowed a total of four earned runs over 32 1/3 innings in that span. Sabathia owns a 9-9 record and 4.03 ERA in 20 career starts against the Angels and is 4-5 with a 3.76 mark in 11 turns at Angel Stadium.

Ramirez was reached for four runs and 10 hits over five innings at Detroit on Thursday but came away with his third victory in four outings. The 28-year-old Nicaraguan is 0-2 in five starts at home but has allowed a total of three earned runs over 20 frames in the three no-decisions. Ramirez has made two relief appearances against New York in his career, issuing two walks and recording three strikeouts over two innings.

WALK-OFFS

1. Yankees OF Aaron Hicks recorded a double in the opener, extending his streak of reaching base safely to a career-high 19 games.

2. New York recalled RHP Ben Heller, who went 1-0 with a 6.43 ERA in 10 relief appearances last season, from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

3. Los Angeles sent OF Shane Robinson outright to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday - three days after he was designated for assignment.

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 10:10 PM EST
WHERE: Petco Park, San Diego, California
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The road has not been kind to the Cincinnati Reds of late as the team has dropped seven straight since posting a victory in Philadelphia on May 28. Cincinnati attempts to end the skid when it visits the San Diego Padres on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game set.

The Reds fell to 0-4 on their six-game road trip with Monday's 9-3 setback in the series opener despite another strong night at the plate by Joey Votto, who went 2-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to seven games. San Diego evened its record at 2-2 on its six-game homestand behind a 14-hit attack led by Austin Hedges, who matched his hit total from his previous seven contests by going 3-for-4 while driving in three runs. Jose Pirela continues to swing a hot bat for the Padres as he enters Tuesday with a six-game hitting streak during which he has recorded five multi-hit performances. The 27-year-old Venezuelan outfielder is 13-for-22 during the run after going hitless in his season debut on June 6 and has collected five RBIs in his last three games.

TV: 10:10 p.m. ET, FSN Ohio (Cincinnati), FSN San Diego

PITCHING MATCHUP: Reds RH Scott Feldman (5-4, 4.09 ERA) vs. Padres LH Clayton Richard (4-7, 4.54)

Feldman won his third straight decision Thursday, scattering four hits over seven scoreless innings to defeat St. Louis. The 34-year-old native of Hawaii was in command of his pitches as he did not walk a batter for second time in three turns and third overall occasion this season. Feldman is 2-1 with one complete game and a 3.45 ERA in three career appearances (two starts) against San Diego.

Richard is coming off a loss at Arizona on Thursday in which he yielded four runs and six hits over five innings. The 33-year-old from Indiana has won each of his last two turns at home, including an outing against the Diamondbacks on May 21 that saw him toss his first complete game since 2012. Richard has yet to defeat Cincinnati in his career, going 0-2 with a 6.31 ERA in 12 appearances (six starts).

WALK-OFFS

1. Padres 2B Yangervis Solarte has recorded five RBIs over the first four games of the homestand, matching his total from the previous 13 overall contests.

2. Votto has recorded four multi-hit performances during his hitting streak and six in his last 10 games.

3. San Diego released RHP Jake Esch, who walked both batters he faced at Colorado on April 12 in his only appearance of the season.

Preview: Royals at Giants
GAME: Kansas City Royals (28-34) at San Francisco Giants (26-39)
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 13 - 10:15 PM EST
WHERE: AT&T Park, San Francisco, California
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Giants and the Kansas City Royals were in much different places the last time they met in San Francisco. Both teams are trying to find the heights that took them to a meeting in the 2014 World Series but are struggling in the standings as the Royals get set to visit the Giants for the start of a two-game interleague series on Tuesday.

Kansas City, which lost to San Francisco in seven games in the 2014 World Series before going back and winning the Fall Classic over the New York Mets the following season, sits in fourth place in the American League Central and is last in the AL in runs scored (237). The Royals have begun to break out of their team-wide offensive funk in June by scoring at least seven runs in five wins during a 6-4 start to the month, including a four-game split with the major league-best Houston Astros. The Giants (239) sit just ahead of Kansas City and rank 28th in the majors in runs scored but busted out of their own slump and avoided a three-game sweep by drubbing the Minnesota Twins 13-8 on Sunday. Left-hander Jason Vargas is the most consistent starter on the Royals staff this season and will get the nod on Tuesday opposite San Francisco's Ty Blach.

TV: 10:15 p.m. ET, FSN Kansas City, NBCSN Bay Area (San Francisco)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Royals LH Jason Vargas (8-3, 2.18 ERA) vs. Giants LH Ty Blach (4-3, 3.64)

Vargas earned the win in three straight starts despite not making it out of the sixth inning in two of those turns. The 34-year-old sandwiched those starts around a seven-hit shutout of Cleveland on June 2. Vargas, who missed the 2015 World Series due to an arm injury, struck out nine in seven scoreless frames against the Giants at home on April 19.

Blach had a string of four straight wins come to an end when he was knocked around for five runs on nine hits in six innings at Milwaukee on Wednesday. The 26-year-old had a string of five straight starts of at least seven innings and three or fewer runs allowed come to an end in that contest. Blach's lone previous interleague experience was a stint out of the bullpen at Kansas City on April 18, when he worked two-thirds of an inning scoreless.

WALK-OFFS

1. Royals 1B Eric Hosmer is 6-for-12 with two homers and five RBIs in his last three games.

2. Giants RHP Sam Dyson, who was picked up last week after being designated for assignment by Texas, allowed three runs - two earned - without recording an out on Sunday in his San Francisco debut.

3. Kansas City 3B Mike Moustakas, whose career high is 22 home runs, bashed two on Sunday to bring his 2017 total up to 17.
