Black Bag Time....

Guy Bush, Pat Caraway, and Pedro Astacio are the only three pitchers in the modern era to have done what??

That might be true but a lot of pitchers never homered. This is dug from the bowels of the black bag (I can only take so much humilitation)..

To save time lets get it over with.

Only guys to pitch over 200 innings in a season and end up with ERA's over 6.00 in the same season.

Sad commentary indeed on the state of modern day pitching.

Highest ERAs with at least 200 innings pitched. Sad that Jose Lima couldn't be with them

TomG don't dispair - Jose Lima tidbit and a pretty good trivia question.

Jose Lima's 6.99 ERA in 2005 was the highest single-season total in baseball history for a pitcher with 30 or more games started.

I think the Royals were seriously considering making batting helmets available to fans along the foul lines when Lima started that year for saftey purposes.

Lima's farewell to the game featured a 2006 stint with the Mets, he ended his final season in the bigs with a 0-4 record with a 9.87 ERA in 4 total starts.

Who could forget "It's Lima Time"....
