C'mon Savant. He was wrong because he lost which is all that matters. If you want to say his thinking was correct and that he will do better in the long run making plays like that, ok fine. But don't say he was right because once the game is over there is a right and a wrong...and he was wrong.

Yes I played the -1 for yet another push LOL. This thread was simply a strait up bet.

SS, you know I have been here for a good while. Im not the kind of person that rubs losses in peoples face. He just got to the point of annoying me to the point that even if I had Cleveland today I probably would have wanted it to lose.
I cant stand all these people who come on here with there so called locks that cant lose. If he would have simply said I think Cleveland wins, I would not have gone to these extreme measures.

actually, that is not all that matters. statistically, Clevland dominated this game, but sometimes the balls dont bounce the way you want them too. It happens every day that the TEAM that deserves to lose actually WINS outright, or COVERS the spread.

In football due to strange anamolies we often see a team DOMINATE time of posession & DOMINATE in TOTAL yards but they lose the game due to a BLOOPER.

sure the people who WON money had the RIGHT side? cause at the end of the day WIN or LOSS is all that counts. but from a TRUE handicapping perspective the team that dominated in the TOTAL yards & TIME of posession was the right side, if they didnt win or COver....

Look a little deeper into the statistics. Eaton, not exactly a power pitcher, managed to strike out nine Indians while Westbrook struck out only one. In all, the Indians struck out 11 times compared to San Diego's 3. San Diego put the ball in play and statistically speaking, the Padres gave the Indians many more chances to make a key error, which they eventually did. I'm not saying this is the only statistic that one should be looking at, just pointing out something that is being overlooked when only comparing hits between the two teams.

I understand what you're saying but I could never say the right side was a losing side. I've had the same situation you speak of in football, and know if I handicap correctly, the ball will bounce my way more often than not in the long run. But we can agree to disagree because again, I will never say that the right side is the losing side.
