Sure. Make it a family operation with your dad as the bathroom attendant and your mom working the highly coveted 7a-12p shift.

A few good friends from college live and work in Vegas and love it. When I visit their homes I forget the strip is less than 15 miles away.

Seems like the perfect place for the op and his wife to wind down their work careers and retire. Best of luck.

That's where I'm located. Ten minutes from all three Stations Casinos.
When I got here the 215 hadn't been built yet and the lot my house sits
on was a patch of desert. Traffic can be congested sometimes but I'm
retired and have no where to go and all day to get there.

Summerlin is nice just never considered it as a place to live. Different strokes I guess.
One thing for sure I wouldn't want to live anywhere near the Strip or Downtown.
