I thought that Castaway guy was full of it a few weeks back but maybe he knew something when he posted this about JoeyC.

Castaway said:

Joey C was a broke dick ex felon that had zero business until he got lucky with the Canadaien thief that screwed his investors out of 20 some odd million and lost it all to BCBETS. Chuck, the only problem is, that you forgot to chop up your profits with RS at CRIS and ran to the DR to start a new company. Meanwhile RS is sitting in prison wondering where is 1/2 is.

There are plenty of good forums out there that are well run. There are ten times as many that aren't well run. Unfortunately, this has been one of them for as long as I've been here. It probably always was. That was fine back in the day when there wasn't much competition, but it doesn't work today. There are too many other places to go. If it's any consolation, MW and "You-Know-Where" aren't on the list of well-run forums, either. Each of the three has flaws.

Do I know how to run a forum properly? Of course I do. I run two forums now and help on another. All run smooothly.

Could I run this forum properly? Not a chance. I don't have a thick enough skin for a place like this. There are too many people whose only mission in life is to stir up trouble, and too many more who are suppressed in real life and thus target authority wherever they find it. I don't want the stress involved, and I wouldn't react well to it. In other words, I don't have the tools to do the job.

I don't have the tools to run a sub-five-minute mile anymore either (my best time was 4:53 my senior year in high school), but I know how to train, and I know racing strategy. I also know how to teach those things, as well. In ten years of coaching high school, I had six state champions (three different kids) in track and cross-country and four teams placed in the top five at state.

If the right people were put in charge here and shown the right way to run this place, it could soar again. But you need both ingredients for a successful place. The right people doing the wrong job won't cut it, nor will the wrong people doing the right job. As it is, you have one right and about twelve wrong people doing the wrong job.

You're about on a par with your closest competitor. They have a few people who know what they're doing, but the one person who has the most say makes more mistakes than the Mets of 1962 did, and he drags the others down with him. The head guy absolutely has to be solid.

I'm not going to outline what needs to be done, and the man in charge here knows why. He also knows how to reach me. I won't be holding my breath waiting for his call or email.

Do you expect me to give the information away for free? I've read all the theories of what needs to be done here. They're posted on this forum, MW, and "You-Know-Where", as well as other places. Not one person has the right idea. A few have one or two things right, but none of them are close to the complete package.

Actually, it isn't really for sale anyway, nor would anybody buy it, because nobody would believe that I know. That's okay with me. It isn't like I need the money anymore.

It's funny that a lot of people are getting fed up with this and other forums. I have been thinking that recently and feel that what should be an intelligient discuusion space amongst like minded individuals has become a playground for those who shout the loudest.

More and more I feel I am wasting my time and hence the number of posts has been decreasing.
sure there is always space for some light banter and some good fun but this and other forums such as majorwager and at risk of becoming considered a joke.

I have been a voyuer here for years, but only write on occasion.

Things have really changed here, and from someone that sits on the outside more than the inside, I have honest opinion and have seen it happening.

I dont know very many people on a personal level that post in these forums, in many ways that is probably why we are at the point where we are- everyone hides behind fake names and unconfirmed sources.

One person I do know/knew is Joey C, and of the people that have written in this thread I bet that maybe 3 have met him, and of those three maybe one really knows him. I am the LAST person that would shill for Joey C, but here are the facts:
-Joey C was convicted of a crime, but it was pretty weak. Not worth holding it aginst him, please dont be a prude...
-Joey C is not a good guy, and uses people and situations for his own personal benefit without any sense of duty or loyalty, but I think he knows that and admits it.
-It is common knowledge that he is owner, investor, and shylock (no racial connotation meant) in the business and was a lieing shill for BC, as was in gambling911.com like a year and change ago
-Joey C, as I know him, is 100% telling the truth here; he is fed up, and I think he is right to be so.

Regardless of what any of us have done in the past things are counter-productive here right now. If these forums are what people believe as fact, the people are all clueless as to what is really happening. I challange everyone to look at what is happening here and try to control things before the Rx as we know it implodes.

Hey Major, ever think you might be the one being used here.

Dear Rx Staff,
Can we create a separate forum? We can have our normal offshore news area, AND have a new "Unconfirm Rumor Area." Real news here, BS there... Simple?

oh yeah, BEANTOWNJIM should be on the payroll, that guy is a riot.

Hiding behind an 'alias' to bash other books while plugging your own is a common thing here so Joey is "guilty" AS are others here. I do agree with some of MR. Cole's opinion of J.C., lots of $$ changes some people for the worst they can be "greedy" "paranoid" "selfish" "Users of poorer folk" the mighty dollar will do that to some. J.C. has been guilty of some of these faults, but he also has done some nice things for people also. Remember what Jesus said about casting that first stone and i haven't been to church in 10 years. Let's try not to be too tough on a fellow human being who has made mistakes just like the rest of us.

I agree, these sites are out of control when site owners can lie to posters for ages while people like me stand and watch.
I knew Joey was a liar who owned a book for a long time, lied about it, and I did nothing about it which I feel guilty for...
The majority of the book owners in CR are a bunch of crooks IMO...
