So, my gf's daughter (15 years old) was walking to pickup a pizza at a local restaurant with a couple of her guy buddies that were visiting. The restaurant is literrally 30 yards from the front door of our place. Well, on their way back, 2 black kids ran up behind one of the boys and snatched his iPhone out of his hand and took off. WTF? Now mind you i live in Mid Cities which is a ritzy part of Dallas. Its not like i live in the ghetto or something. I couldn't believe it. I know crime happens everywhere and you can't move away from it, but its still unbelievable to me. This world is getting crazier by the minute and people are losing their mind. I just wish i would have been close by to chase their fucking asses down and teach them a lesson.

That being said, it seems as if the "thugs" or "thieves" whatever you want to call them, no where to go for a better "snatch". Malls in nicer area's, outdoor promenade malls, etc. They know where the better cars are parked to break into, the better chances of a lady having more money in her purse to snatch etc.
What is mostly sad about all of it, if you were to see it happen and confront them to take the phone back you are being viewed as in the wrong. Remember a few months back the lady that shot a guy breaking in her house and stealing stuff? His family was saying he didn't deserve to die over breaking in and stealing, blah blah blah.

Exactly. People need to have situational awareness. How did he not hear someone running up to him...or see them before they approached? Probably because - just like other millenials - he wasn't paying any attention to what was going on around him (only to what was going on on his phone), staring down at his phone and walking. Not that it's justifiable what the thug did, but people need to pay a-fucking-tention!
Yep. Some black dude came up to me in Encore Sports Book and bummed a cigarette from me. I gave him 2! Then i went to the counter to place a wager only to come back and notice my phone was taken off my cubicle table. I had a friend i met sitting right next to me that thought he took drink tickets off my table, but it was my phone.
This is why i don't leave the house without my 9mm handgun.It don't matter where you go these days,there is a possible threat against you.Also the bottom line is,it is always a black person commiting the crime and as said above the family always calls foul when their kin has been shot.They are never at fault according to their family even if the evidence is dead on that they did it..i've worked in corrections for 25 years and i know how they act on any given day,always scheeming to do something against a person who they know they can take advantage of,..man i'll tell you,when i saw and caught them doing that to somebody i would get in their face and tell them,comon take something off me,here i have a couple bucks in my pocket try and take it,..and i would then say,don't worry about the badge cause all bets are off and i promise i won't retaliate by writing you up if you are successful against me,and of course they always would back down siteing ,oh your boys will come to rescue you and i say,hell im standing here by myself with your boys and im game,but the only thing is,most of his boys know how i am and get along with me fine and never had a problem so the lone wolf is now by himself so he walks away,......sorry for rambling but all this shit upsets me,...im done
