Carytown or Adams Morgan?
Gibbs, past his prime or needs to retire?
Have you ever thought about not posting because of the haters from time to time?
What is your thought about the (lack of) minorities in Journalism and do you think sometimes the coverage can be a little off because of the misrepresentation?
What or who got you into the world known as gambling?
PS I love what you said about respect in the forum. Personally people give credit way to easily to others.
Carytown or Adams Morgan? I've been to Carytown far more often, haven't spent much time in Adams Morgan...but I've heard great things. So I'll say incomplete, for right now. I'll let you know when I've fully experienced AM.
Gibbs, past his prime or needs to retire? I don't want to say that he needs to retire...but he's clearly not the same coach. When he was in charge of playcalling, it was horrendous. The Redskins have also become the joke of the league in terms of how they're organized, problems with coaches, personnel moves etc. He seems to put too much stock in how much he likes a player off the field, rather than how good he really is as a player.
I don't doubt that he can still motivate his players, but he should probably retire; he's past his prime.
Have you ever thought about not posting because of the haters from time to time? Eh, not really. Not for that reason, at least. I post plays here to keep myself disciplined, fight the urge to chase, and focus on solid money management. I don't really need to post plays anymore, but it's a habit, and I'll take advantage of this sort of "check system" while it's available.
Most haters are just miserable fucks who have serious personal issues. This forum is just a microcosm of real life.
I post here to kill time, mainly. I've made some good friends on here, and I enjoy the interactions with some posters. But as is with people in real life, I've encountered many posters who I have no respect for, who I simply don't like. Sometimes I feel that it's a waste of time trying to reason with these people, and sometimes it makes me feel like just stopping posting here all-together, but I try to focus my posts and interactions with posters who I actually respect or, at the very least, posters with whom I don't have a problem. But I don't mind bashing people, either.
What is your thought about the (lack of) minorities in Journalism and do you think sometimes the coverage can be a little off because of the misrepresentation? I haven't really thought about it that much, to be honest. But I don't really think that the coverage is off because of the misrepresentation, at least in the sports world. In politics and other arenas, I'm sure it is much more of an issue...but not so much in the sports world, especially since they are so heavily-dominated by minorities, that bias really can't survive or go unnoticed.
What or who got you into the world known as gambling? I used to make bets with friends in high school, but that was more straight-up shit. Then a friend introduce me to the offshore scene. I think the first book I ever posted up at was JagBet.com, which goes to show you just how much he and I knew about shit. I didn't take it very seriously, practiced awful money management, and blew some $ right off the bat making stupid bets.
Then, a couple years ago, my older brother (Juice) introduced me to the Rx. He had been introduced to it by Oldirtyku. I started posting in the RR at first, and just observed the other forums. Slowly but surely I started to pick up on some things, kinda learned the ropes, so to speak. It's amazing to think about how much information I've amassed over the past couple years, about things that I take for granted now...things like simply how to fund a sportsbook account, the best ways to withdraw, the good and bad books, line shopping, overnights, learned practical money management principles, etc. I was clueless to everything before I visited this place.
