As far as the caddying thing, Link himself admitted on radio he was doing that but of course, his explanation was that he was trying to get pictures with famous persons to be included in his upcoming book. It's ok if you believe that's his real reason, but why would you so quick to assume everything were fabricated? Not saying you are lying but would it be possible he's placing a bet for an unsuspected victim? He's a liar and scammer after all.
A 5 figure wager is NOTHING in this town and wouldn't grab any attention at all except that he's someone that is known in the gambling world. I'm more interested in hearing about brent musburger's bets at the vegas casinos. I've bet 5 figure wagers several times a year if I feel that strongly about it. This year I've done it twice in football season and once in hockey betting the under on the winter classic and I squeezed my ass on that one. I know theres regulars that place 6 figure bets at the LVH book every day. Money Mayweather is known to place million dollar bets regularly and when they win he posts the picture of the ticket online and when he loses he doesn't. The last one I heard about was him losing a million on the broncos vs pats game during the regular season. And the super bowl will certainly have several celebrities betting millions on the the game.
If Lang made a five figure bet he'd post a picture of the ticket to act like a big shot. Lang has no money. He's dead broke.
