ESPN reporting San Diego State's chartered flight to Laramie for today's game with Wyoming was grounded by a snowstorm Monday night, making it questionable whether the game will be played as scheduled.

Sportswriter Mark Zeigler of UTandSan Diego.com offers more details: "This year the San Diego State men's basketball team chartered a flight directly into Laramie for its annual trip to Wyoming instead of the usual slog -- flying commercial to Denver, followed by a 2.5-hour bus ride over a notoriously windy mountain pass that may or may not be open," writes Zeigler. "And what happens? Their Charter Monday afternoon stops halfway to refuel in Cedar City, Utah, then gets grounded by a snowstorm."

Zeigler adds, though, that "SDSU officials say they're 'confident' the team will make to Laramie tomorrow in plenty of time for the 6:30 p.m. game against Wyoming."
