This is Rasmussen's 21st start of the year and in the first 20, he has given up more than 3 earned runs just 3 times.
Think about that consistency folks.
And as far as Over/Unders are concerned, 13 of his 19 starts have gone Under with a push.
Now he faces the Yankees. In 5 career appearances (4 starts), he is 2-1 with a 0.34 ERA and has not allowed a run in 13 innings in his 2 appearances in NYC.
Talk about a guy who likes to pitch in the big apple.
New York counters with Cam Schlittler, who makes his 3rd start this year.
He was solid before the all star break going 5 1/3 innings holding the Mariners to 3 runs and out of the all star break at Toronto, 5 innings just 2 runs.
Not easy to hold the Blue Jays offense to 2 earned in Canada.
He should have some great success against this Rays offense that is non existent on the road.
Last 10 road games they have gone under 7 of 8 with a pair of pushes.
They have scored more than 3 runs in only 2 of them.
Give me the Under in game one of this 4-game set in the Bronx tonight.

Well, as hot as the Toronto Blue Jays have been offensively, I still can't believe they couldn't hit Jack Flaherty.
Here it is on Monday and I am still scratching my head as to the fact they made him look like Dwight Gooden in his prime.
Unreal. 19-4 their last 23 games heading into that game yesterday and they were pathetic against Flaherty.
After reeling off 4 straight Baseball winners Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I have dropped 3 in a row.
Just stuck in the mud with my baseball product. Simple as that.
Just have to keep grinding through one day at a time, one winner at a time.
