LANG'S PICK: BOSTON RED SOX -115 vs LA DODGERS (SHEEHAN vs BELLO)

Nice day off yesterday courtesy of a 5-game board.
Now we are back at it looking to keep this winning streak going with a 5th straight winner.
It was just Wednesday night my juicy underdog Red Sox (+125) came back from 5-0 down to win 9-7 in extra innings for a 4th straight winning day.
It started last Sunday with the 20 dime winner on the Red Sox. Then on Monday we rolled out the 30 dime on the Brewers (+110) drilling the Mariners 6-0.
Tuesday was the 40 dime winner on the Astros 3-1 over the D'backs and then of course the big dog winer on the Wednesday with the Phillies.
All in all, a much needed back to back to back to back wins and a good starting block to start a winning streak.
Just have to keep grinding through one day at a time, one winner at a time.
It starts with another winner on Friday.

Time to quickly get the momentum back today.
After reeling off 4 straight Baseball winners Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, just couldn't make it 5 in a row on Friday.
Was looking for 30 dime winner #2 in a row and backed the Red Sox at home looking for an 8th straight home win.
Well, their offense was a no show mustering up just 2 runs on 5 hits and their home winning streak went down in flames 5-2.
Not to be deterred, raising the bar on this Saturday card with a 75 dimer going late on the west coast between the Mets and Giants.
Good pitching match up with David Peterson and Robbie Ray.
Just have to keep grinding through one day at a time, one winner at a time.

My Analysis
Simply put, going to ride the hotter team.

And that team is the hottest team in baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays.

With their 6-1 win over the Tigers on Saturday, beating Cy Young award winner Tarik Skubal, they have now won 4 straight and 8 of their last 9.

In fact, since June 29th, they have the best record in baseball at 19-4.

The same can't be said about the Tigers.'

It was just a short while ago after a 3-game sweep of the Guardians over 4th of July weekend then beat the Rays 2 out of 3 at home.

When Seattle came to town right before the all-star break, they had the best record in baseball.

Then the Mariners swept them.

Out of the break they lost 2 out of 3 at Texas, got swept 3 in a row at Pittsburgh and now have lost 3 straight to these red hot Blue Jays.

You add it all up and you will see a bad run of bad baseball, bad hitting, bad pitcher amounting to losing 12 of their last 13.

OUCH.

And I don't see Jack Flaherty as being the guy who is going to quiet these Toronto bats today.

Over his last 7 starts he has given up 3 runs or more in 5 of them, which tells me he is hittable.

And the Blue Jays will hit him.

Toronto counters with Max Scherzer.

Since coming off the DL, he has been solid with just 1 bad start in the 6 starts he has made.

In his first 5 starts he gave up 3 or less as the Blue Jays won 3 of the 5 but he did give up 4 at home to the Yankees in the 5-4 loss.

Tigers are not hitting. They are struggling as a team and they are stressing, pressing and it shows in their 1-12 run.

Let's move it to 1-13 as the Blue Jays continue to roll.
