Time to close ANOTHER LOSING month with a rock solid winner.
Bottom line: I said I would not lose on Sunday and then went out and made my 150 dimer on a team I knew would show up and play 40 minutes of basketball.
The team I was talking about was the Houston Cougars.
They came out with a defensive game plan and proceeded to hold the Vols to the lowest first half total in NCAA tournament history.....15 points.
The 34-15 halftime lead never got closer than 10 the entire 2nd half and the Cougars pulled away late for the 69-50 win.
What a difference a day makes.
You see Florida on Saturday play another lackadaisical game like they did against UCONN, like they were entitled a win. Where is your killer instinct!!!!
Then a team like Houston, that wants to rip your heart out for 40 minutes.
All I am going to say is that it feels really good this morning to see a team do exactly what you handicap them to do.
And quite frankly, the difference between a veteran coach in Kelvin Sampson and a young coach in Gators coach Todd Golden. That pretty much says it all.

The Crown Basketball tournament tips off in Vegas with 7 days of basketball and 16 teams from 7 conferences going for the title.
From the Big Ten, Big 12 and the Big East to the WCC, Mountain West, A-10 and the AAC, I love the extra college hoop this week heading into the round of 4 Saturday.

So the line was 2.5 most of the day. A few books had the line at 3 or 3.5 at different times of the day but for most of the day the line was 2.5 and the only sportsbook out of the top 10 used by most people that had a closing line of either 3 or 3.5 was Fanduel. The game should have been graded a loser. It seems like none of the other fake cappers on his site had the other side so they're letting Lang get away with a fake win.

Leave it to Lang to create a "double controversy" with his Washington State pick. Not only did some backers win or lose based on the line they got but several sportsbooks had to take down their College Basketball Crown lines and void bets because this tournament was not a sanctioned pre-approved wagering event in certain states including New Jersey, Ohio and Illinois. This proves once again, that Lang is a double muck-up. LoL
