Feel great about this one tonight.
I felt that way about the Lions, especially when they are up 7-3 with a minute to go in the 1st quarter and facing a 3rd and 1 at the Commanders 17 yard line.
That's win Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson gets stupid and goes empty set and tries to throw it which leads to a sack and fumble and Washington ball.
You would have to ask him why he didn't run it there. You're in complete control of the game. Just pound the rock!!!!! Go up 14-3. Right where you want to be.
But nope. As great as Johnson has been all year long, that decision should haunt him for a long time.
Not making excuses, I just would have liked to see how the game would have played out if the Lions had gone up 14-3 there but we will never know
I give the Commanders full credit, especially offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, who made Aaron Glenn his little bitch all night long. END OF STORY.
Not the greatest showing for the Lions two coordinators and, they will ride off into the sunset with their head coaching jobs but last night, they were garbage.
Let's move on.
This Ravens/Bills was my best bet of the entire weekend. Unlike the Lions Saturday, it will get the job done.
Then it's off to the National championship game where I will put the finishing touches on an absolutely incredible season.
So I say to you again: I feel good about the Notre Dame/Ohio State line and feel pretty good about ending the college football season with one last winner.
First things first, closing the divisional round with this NFL 150 dime winner and then off to a winning Monday as well.
Let's go.
