Yep. Arch manning coming and leading a comeback. Probably right on Buckeyes.

Langs rant is delicious. Maybe YOU can't handicapp those 4 things, but for those of us with a coherent mind, we do. All of those are part of the game.

The Pick: My 75 Dime winner is the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 1st Half.

The Line:
The current line is -3 1/2 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of 9:30 AM EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

My Analysis
Not making the same mistake twice.

Thought long and hard last night about coming with a 1st half play on Penn State over Notre Dame, feeling the Nittany Lions would come out of the box strong.

And they most certainly did, taking a 10-3 lead into the break.

But nope, I decided to make a play on PSU for the game and then sat back in horror and watched as James Franklin once again imploded beyond belief.

Think Armegedden meets the Titanic.

Well, I am not hanging around for any 2nd half meltdowns or 4th quarter madness between these two tonight.

In their two playoff games so far the Ohio State Buckeyes have started out fast and furious.

At home against Tennessee they led 21-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and cruised to the 2-10 lead at the half.

In the Rose Bowl last week against Oregon, they led 14-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and 34-8 at the half.

Say what you want about their loss to rival Michigan but it's turning out to be the best thing that could have happened to these Buckeyes.

Texas on the other hand discarded Clemson pretty easy although the vanilla offense of the Tigers still put up over 400 yards total offense.

Then they should have lost outright to Arizona State if the safety of the Sun Devils in OT didn't fall asleep on 4th and 18 and give up a TD.

Everyone keeps talking about how good this Texas secondary is in 2 playoff games they have gotten absolutely shredded.

Cade Klubnik of Clemsom went 26 of 43 for 336 yards and 3 TD's while Arizona State's passed for almost 300 yards as Sam Levitt went 24 of 46.

Folks, neither one of those guys can hold Will Howard's nuts in an orgy.

Things might get crazy in the 2nd half of this one with Texas trying to slide in the backdoor but in the first half, I see the Buckeyes getting off to another fast start.

Ohio State wins the first half tonight by 7 points or more.
