Down 3 with 23 seconds to go you have plenty of time to extend the game by cutting it to 1 and making them make free throws until you get inside 10 seconds.
Then you have to take the 3.
But nope. Drew allowed freshman Keyonte George jack up a 40-foot 3 and of course it misses, Baylor fouls, Texas hits 2, and Baylor jacks up another 3 and misses.
GAME OVER. Lose by 5.

So we have one day left here in this winning month of January and I would like nothing better than to end this month with a winner.
Now my attention turns to hoops and more importantly, College hoops for the next 13 days until Super Sunday.
Listen, I needed to have a solid month to start 2023. I knew it. The internet world knew it. Simple as that.
I am 17-12 with 1 day left this month. That is exactly the kind of start I was looking for here in 2023.
