It still boggles my mind that people say he is overrated. The 7th player to hit 400 HR's and get 3000 hits and one year he played every game and only had 3 errors.

Was he any good at fielding?

Great fielder......but you dont or shouldnt get in the hall of fame based on your fielding...carreer .262 batting average....never hit more than 6 homeruns in a season.....overall he was above avearge...the question isnt who sucks...its OVERRATED....and he fits the description.....hes overrated....period...end of story....good player, great fielder....not a hall of famer in my book....hence, overrated!

Only had 3 errors because he had the range of a turtle. Can't make an error if you don't get to balls more than 5 feet to the left or right of you. I would NOT call him the most overrated player, but had to address the GREAT fielder comment.
