This is just too much. all I want is some ZCash, lite, and Eth. I've got the cash. Sucks you can't just buy it. I mean you link a bank account to it, so why do you have to buy Bitcoin. I can easily see why so many people are skeptical...

Www.changelly.com you can buy it with cash but the max I think is $50, that's why I don't use it.. there's prob some exchanges that let you buy with cash but I don't really use them.. most of them want all your information , social security # and shit , fuck that

I read a little about tether which allows you to buy with USDT, which is supposed to be similar. Anyone know anything about this?

I just recently opened an account on Poloniex, deposited BTC and began buying ETH, STEEM, and ZEC.

sad to see you discouraged Matty, id be willing to help you out with what I know how to do

Ive researched, and actually understand how to do it, but it's just too many steps and too much to keep up with. Like stated, it's easy to see why most are skeptical, or want no part of it, it sucks, bc I do believe there's a crap ton of money to be made. Wish davey worked where I did, lol, I'd pay a fee for someone else to handle it.

i cant fu-cking figure any of this stuff out. seems so complicated for me. i went to vegas about 2 months ago and my buddy cashed out some money from his sportsbook into bitcoins and he was joking about going to the atm and withdrawing the bitcoins for cash at 1200 a bitcoin when we all got back home it started its run and those 6or7 he had would have more then doubled.

at some point some of these will be worthless there are too many out there for them all to be winners, the 1 i have read a little about is that ETH that seems like the one thats def gonna be a winner. i just wish it was more simple to buy and sell kinda like a stock market, christ i just do an etf with scottrade and im good to go. if you wanna follow a stock that is invested in bitcoins its GBTC and man the swings are WILD haha

gl to everyone trading these things, its just over my head

man i promise if i can do it, you can.

1. open a coinbase acct
2. buy eth or btc using any kind of debit or credit card (you have now purchased crypto currency!)

depending on what you want to do, send to sportsbooks or keep in a wallet is the next thing you need to decide on. i assure you it is extremely simple.

Hi guys was just skimming thru here and I saw the comment about kraken taking up to 3 weeks to get verified. I have just started in this and decided to use kraken. From what I have read it takes 7 days to get verified and in my case it took exactly that, so much so that I am guessing it is their policy. I signed up about 4:15 a.m. last monday morning and my verification came thru at 4:15 a.m. this morning. First chance I got I sent bitcoin there and thought it would be like the sportsbooks, maybe 10-30 minutes but not so. After doing a little research I am under the impression this could take from 15-40 hours from coinbase to kraken. Will let you know how this goes.

I don't get this. You set up an account with LocalBitcoins, buy your bitcoins then what?

Do you trade them? This is the part I don't understand. This is new and confusing to me too.
