Where's the best place/site to do this at. I'm game to try my luck with a few...

ive been using the jaxx wallet on my iPhone to purchase zcash .. they have them for android as well. There's 8 different major coins you can convert to and buy on there platform. You have to purchase with bitcoin though. There's a website Changelly.com you can buy with cash but the max is $50.. I always buy my bitcoin off localbitcoins.com with a cash deposit into someone's bank account.. zcash shot up to $311 this morning.. bittrex.com is an exchange you can buy off of as well, but again you need to have bitcoin to purchase ... every paycheck I'm buying another coin

I read an article the other day that if you would have purchased $100 worth of bitcoin in 2009 It'd be worth 70 something million right now... even last year When it was in the $400 range, I was just using bitcoin to transfer money from nitrogen for gambling winnings back to cash.. thinking about what I could of had now if I kept my coins burns my balls, but who the hell knew it was gonna blow up like this!

I think the 1st bitcoin transaction ever, someone bought a cheese pizza from papa johns for 10,000 bitcoins lol... could you imagine, that's a 28 million dillar pizza

I wasn't trying to be vague in any way, I just can't remember if we're supposed to put the names of other forums. If we can I will.

Ethereum is supposedly the next big one, we'll see what happens. I will hang on to it and see where it goes.

There's a problem with Bitcoin in that the block size limit is only 1 MB. This has to be increased in order to handle all the transactions and keep fees down.

There are two solutions. One is to create a separate coin known as Bitcoin Unlimited. The other is to implement a soft fork called SegWit. It looks as it will be SegWit.

SegWit is already on Litecoin. When it was implemented, the price of LTC went wild.

If BTC stays as is, then ETH has a chance to become the number one crypto-currency. There are almost as many ETH transactions as there are BTC. ETH transactions are confirmed faster and fees are cheaper.

The coin market cap for BTC is $45b and ETH is $24b.

Poloniex, Kraken, BTC-e, GDAX and Bitstamp are some exchanges to trade.
