thanks oldmanTed.....he's doing what every red bloodied American is allowed to do...chase the golden ring...but....BUYER BEWARE!!....whether its a ponzi scheme...snake oil.....or sending cash to some dude to receive our lottery winnings tied up in a escrow account......we all have the freedom to do those things.....gamblers are the most gullible bunch......always looking for the edge to beat the man.......

excellent write up OMT......!!! Excellent!

It is good to get the history of cappers, but I do have to say if at the end of the day they're doing well, I'm going to give them a look. Falcon was vague about his "system," and I suspect that he has a friend or decent capper somewhere that he taps into. I don't really care if the picks come in correct.

I've noticed that when a capper starts charging for his picks, his accuracy seems to go down - a lot. I try to rely on the collective knowledge of everyone here (and elsewhere, of course), but time doesn't give me that chance often. I don't wager enough to justify the hours analyzing every game to get the "sure thing," so I'm hoping key cappers know what they're doing.

I'm going to give Falcon/SSI a chance - but I'll bet his plays a lot lighter than usual unless I get independent confirmation or I particularly like the pick - like Atlanta tonight. (They won.)

i know a guy that caps games and gives his picks to a group of guys that are marketing wiz's...........the marketers couldn't pick a winner to save their lives, but they could make you buy something that you didn't want or need in a blink of an eye.....all they need is for the guy capping the games to go on a run or at least stay above 50%, and they'll be swimming in $$$$.

gamblers are weak....gullible.....easy targets.....deer in the headlights.......!!

buyer beware!

Buyer BEWARE is right! I used to purchase picks, never again. There are wayyy to many reliable cappers on the RXforum. That's why this site is the best in the business.

Thank you OMT for providing information to all of us to make an informed decision. I personally think SSI/Greg has a friendly enough demeanor and he is doing well as of late. If he is setting up to become a tout I am willing to hear his solicitation at the very least. For the amount of profit I have seen with him if the cost is simply my email address I am ok with that.

Again thank you for all the past information. New guys like me could be vulnerable given his recent success.

You are missing the big picture here. You say you are going to give SSI a chance.Does that mean you are going to pay for his picks when he goes tout? You are better off flipping a coin. And rest assured he is going tout.He has been pan handling for email addresses at pretty well every forum on the internet. At the one forum where I reside at most,he would say things like"okay, going to gives you guys one more".

Thank you OMT for weeding these guys out.

Yes gmenknicks, once SSI goes tout all he will be charging you is your email address info.

I hope you made alot of money off of his hot steak because you will surely give it all back if you choose to buy his picks.

'Scuse me, but I haven't seen one request from SSI for money. When that happens, there are plenty of other cappers here for me to follow. Don't tell me about the big picture, sport. Reread my original note.
