remember the fat guy teller, from Nuns on the Run?

has an attitude at first, then when he keeps doubling up and winning, the guys says "you're the best i've ever seen"

And they have to have a cigarette to relax after the last big bet...

great stuff.......

dumb young couple in the bar, girl says "you know, i am pretty cheesed off that the jockey fell off that horse", "i might just go to the automatic teller and get more money to get it back".......lol

Love that movie....

yeah, Terri Garr was the wife, a very underrated actress...Been in some very good movies, and even some biggies, she is just rarely the "star"

great in Mr Mom, Tootsie, Let it Ride, and many others...

Let me add my favorite line from Let It Ride.

It was when Jennifer Tilly sneaks up behind Trotter and puts her hands over his eyes and says in her sexiest voice "guess who?"

Trotter responds "basketball salesman?" Cracks me up everytime I watch this classic movie.

Rumor has it that Tony Cheeseburger in "Let It Ride" was based loosely on JJ Gold.

Robbie Coltrane as the ticket puncher is funny stuff...and David Johansen as Looner is absolutely hilarious.

Fever Pitch. The scene where he takes his daughter to the amusement park and the visions of horse races start popping into his head is classic.

Believe it or not, I saw Rounders last night for the first time, A good movie, Matt Damons buddy sure needs to get a real azz whopping, man!

But teh funny thing is, there are alot of people out there who are just like matts friend, acting/doing/behaving the same way.

I give ROUNDERS 2 aces and three kings

two thumbs up, way up.

In my opinion, the best SCENE in any gambling movie is in Hardball, when Keanu Reeves lays the wager on the Chicago Bulls and he is watching outside the window while his buddy tells him the play by play from the tv he's watching from outside also. After he pulls it out he is the total opposite, celebrating and living it up inside the bar. This scene was played out perfect and showed how desperate someone can be with one specific wager...........

If you haven't seen this movie, watch it just for this scene. An absolute classic scene......

Fellas, I own a very nice sleeper of a NYC BM/Restraunteur flick called "Dinner Rush", with Danny Aiello, it is well worth a look.

Even references Joey Bag O' Donuts in the first few seconds..a nice jump from the starting gates.

Any BM, Degen, Sharp, NYCer, or Foodie will appreciate it.
