It was a surreal experience. On friday, we have this outdoor walking mall right near my office and near the scene of these protest, there were signs every saying "if diversity makes you uncomfortable, this isn't the place for you"... another saying " If diversity makes you uncomfortable, lets talk about it -we love everyone". The rally was called "Unite the Right" And Unite Cville posters were everywhere. There was an uneasiness in the air, everyone was overly nice before. Several businesses closed on a Saturday worried that this would escalate
So what's your point? You can open carry in Virginia. People open carrying are looking for trouble or protecting themselves from potential trouble?
Stop wasting your time and just join so you can be around likeminded people https://traditionalistamericanknights.com/Application.php
see, that's what people like you resort to. Instead of backing your claim with actual stats, you just call me a racist. I've never made a racist comment at the rx ever. Don't believe in it at all but that's what people like you do. When you can't articulately argue a point, you just resort to the racist angle.
Back your claims with stats and evidence or stfu.
Then you are too ignorant to engage in any conversation
Did they harass churches today?
Yes, as disgusting as it sounds, racist chants are allowed buddy.
Torches? Like the tiki torches they were carrying? Those torches?
Safe spaces? Fucking just stop it already.
Racist chants are allowed, you're not allowed to wander the streets as a large group chanting them ahead of when you have your permits for. That is the difference.
Torches contain fire, whether it was a tiki torch, a lighter or a match, they are all capable of doing damage and when you got 1000's with them, lots of damage. If you saw a group marching on your neighbourhood with tiki torches you would just pull up a chair and light a sparkler, no worry to you?
Now you've got a mob with fire, shouting at passerbys who are trying to live their life, roaming trying to find trouble. What part of that isn't hostile and trying to provoke.
Yes a safe space, I'm not talking a Berkley, can't hear a differing opinion, make all non pc talk disappear bullshit but a right not feel threatened for their lives which today proved was a real threat with this group...these are students who are trying to go to school they shouldn't have to be confronted by a mob. Why did the group need to go to a university? to what end? how did it do anything for the rally? think that thru for a second, why. It was to create fear, it was to get press, it was to provoke anger and hope they would get a response that they could use.
I love how Democrats resort to the race card whenever someone doesn't agree with their point of view.
It's the most predictable thing going for their party.
If someone says 2+2=5 will you continue a discussion about algebra with them? No.
You simply don't get it and that's why the world is leaving you and your views behind.
