It's probably for the best. Don't think Eagles fans could take getting spanked by the Pats again in the Super Bowl.:toast:

Tom Cruise makes a movie and he gets 40 million..

Elton John plays at Caesars 126 times during the year..36 million..

The Stones get back together for there 20th farewell tour..Each guy for 4 months of touring pockets 20 million..

We could go on and on about the inequities in the entertainment field..

Did either of the above mentioned ever on ..ANY GIVEN SUNDAY..Go deep across the middle on a fly pattern??..Or take a reverse and start up the field..

At any time TO could go down..These careers are vulnerable..The great players need proper compensation..The guy showed on Super Sunday and did more than 1/2 the Eagles did and he was flawed...

I see both points..His agents demeanor and tactics dont help the situation..I hope they settle this..TO at top of his game..The Raiders will take him,..Davis loves these projects..

Andy Reid has his plate full..along with Eagle management..Lets wait and see..They need TO..One receiver down..Lets wait and see and hope this thing gets settled before it gets out of hand..With Rosenhaus in the picture thats more than probable..

Cruise doesn't threaten to not show up in the 1st week of shooting if Maramax doesn't renegotiate his deal

Elton doesn't threaten to go back to England after 2 shows if Ceasers won't renegotiate the deal

Mick and Keith don't......nevermind :smoker2:

EGO74..

Like Johnny Drama would say..'COME ON BRO"..

Elton and the boys have rich deals..They are getting fat in non contact entertainment..I am not saying they dont deserve it..

You breakdown TO and his deal its 7 million a year..look around the league..The guy deserves more..

hes a great talent..Comes to play everyday..Lives the game and has the passion..Guys come with game but no passion..I have been there..

One mans opinion...

not arguing that. point is, he just signed the deal last season. If he's a top receiver (i believe he is), have a clause in the contract stating " I must remain among the top whatever in salary"

Hey Winbet, any interest in a copy of the Blue Ribbon Yearbook? I have a spare one that I'll send across the pond as a bargain.

I saw the Neil Hartman interview, most telling point was when TO said " IF Andy Reid wants to be a man about it, I will tell you what really happened" ...

I think it got personal between the 2. This is one of the problems when the coach is also the GM, they have problems seperating the 2.

a did you see Hollis' interview too? He was great about it. I think most of the team saw it if Hollis was in there too so at least everyone isn't whispering around camp about it. I'd rather the team have full knowledge of it so they can get on with football and put this behind them.

Not picking on you, SB, but Dante's "just heard a rope go tight" comment cracked me up!

I saw a clip of the interview w/ TO today at lunch, and he said something like "If Coach wants to come talk to me like a man, I'm ready." I know these players grow up and live in a world where you have to defend your honor and not let anyone disrespect you, but COME ON! Can you imagine any player saying that about his coach in the 1970s? I don't think Joe Namath could have gotten away with that! Interesting times we live in.

Randy Moss and TO have enormous egos and cause uncountable headaches off the field, but they both bring it on game day, you have to hand that to them.

Andy won't care what TO says in the media Iggy. TO's not getting his way and Andy isn't going to budge because he pouts.

Now if we're 1-4 in the first 5 weeks of the regular season and he's still out...well then I'd hate to be in Andy's shoes. I'd hate to be in Andy's shoes regardless of the outcome though!

You're sure taking this well, SB! I guess you've been waiting for this powder keg to blow for almost a year now.

Well knowing how Rosenhaus has handled his clients in the past this was unfortunately inevitable. This isn't like Ricky Watters at least. :103631605

It would be nice if we would actually WIN a Super Bowl for once. If they would've beaten NE last year I would probably be saying "OK...we got one with TO...let's get this done." But we don't have anything to show for it yet. That's what makes me most upset about this. Let's win a darn SB then everyone can cry about money. :suomi:

The injuries to other players on this team hurt us more than just TO holding out. Let's get Corey Simon into camp too...though we are pretty well set at DL (but we need ALL the horses in there).

Ugh...it hurts to think about it Iggy. :lolBIG:

16 games to go, Dude, anything can happen!

You got that right...the good thing is the players don't seem to give a $hit who's in there...they're the ones you have to worry about the most. I think they would be happy to show TO he's not vital to the cause. :103631605

I have major respect for the Eagles organization, and would be greater if they didn't let him back. Last time I checked, they had a top-5 defense. They have 5-6 wins in that division alone.
