The "lied about supporting the Republican nominee" thing is wrong, I don't know why the media is peddling that.

Kasich, Bush, Cruz, etc didn't pledge they would endorse Trump. The "pledge" was that they wouldn't run 3rd party and it was obviously just done to take Trump's leverage away incase they wanted to or had a chance to ratfuck him.

Wrong, they each SIGNED a pledge stating they would support whoever the Republican nominee was.

What do you think support means? There is a reason the pledge wasn't to endorse but "support" It was just some BS they won't run 3rd party, which none of them were going to do anyway. It didn't mean they were going all cozy up to him. Yeah that is semantics on their part, but obviously there wasn't any implicit guarantee they had to endorse the winner for a reason.

Even by your own logic, judging by the video, they're off the hook via Trump's own mouth. Take a listen for yourself.

Ipolitics endorse and pledge basically mean the same thing. Cruz SHOULD have said IF he supports him "Although me and Donald my have differences I fully support him in this election"

I heard Cruz is trying to follow the path of Reagan in 1976. The problem with that is
that Reagan going into the convention had 1070 delegates Ford had 1187 it was
very close and everyone who supported Reagan was for Reagan.

In the 2016 primaries Trump had 1542 to Cruz 563 about 1000 more & don't
forget Cruz in the last 3 dates when primaries were conducted had the support
of the establishment who were part of the #nevertrump movement to stop
Trump from getting 1237. Cruz didn't even realize that #nevertrump defined
by establishment voters in no way meant #always Cruz they voted for Cruz
or Kasich when they were the last men standing to prevent Trump from the magic
#. The plan of the elites was to bypass Cruz completely & turn the nomination
over to Paul Ryan or Romney.

And Reagan was very gracious to Ford and endorsed him even though he wasn't a big fan of his. There was a whole different feeling towards Ronnie after his speech than after the arrogant piece of shit Cruz spoke.
