I was reading that when he walked off stage, he tried to walk into 4 different private seating areas, and all 4 he was turned away by security relegated to walk back through the entire crowd.

The "lied about supporting the Republican nominee" thing is wrong, I don't know why the media is peddling that.
Kasich, Bush, Cruz, etc didn't pledge they would endorse Trump. The "pledge" was that they wouldn't run 3rd party and it was obviously just done to take Trump's leverage away incase they wanted to or had a chance to ratfuck him.

Yeah I really don't think Cruz screwed himself much at all. That is people being "prisoners of the moment" so to speak.
