Have you taken into consideration that Carpenter is on a tight pitch count and probally won't go past the fifth inning. He only went four his last start. That leaves you with the Cards bullpen and their bad 4.59 ERA for the last four innings and is the reason Carpenter is a dog at home. Good Luck with SL.

Carpenter isnt on as much of a strict pitch count as you believe i think he goes 7 tonight yes that still leaves 2 innings for the pen however as cold as the dodgers bats have been all season long i will take my chances with STL as a DOGGIE here and i like ATL also but PHI is my strongest play of the day for most of the reasons you stated as well as the playoff race looking for phils to have a statement series here against the fish and it starts with a jamie moyer victory tonight gl on the other 2 plays

Glad to see you still won but you also saw what can happen when a pitcher is on a strict pitchcount. He threw 50 not 90 and Izzy almost blew it for you. I'm posting this to tell you the next time Carpenter starts to bet just the first five innings. Now you should have Carpenter for your full bet. The juice on 5 inning bets is about a dime higher but in this case, it will be worth it. Good Luck.
