EXACTLY!

Going for 2 was a NO-BRAINER for three huge reasons..........

1. OKLAHOMA getting ball last.

2. Percentages higher making 2-pointer than if they go to 2nd overtime.

3. Boise DB out

This was not a 10-10 OT game either.........this was an offensive fiasco..........Boise St. is a VERY GOOD offenseive football team.

WIN THE GAME RIGHT THERE.............AND THEY DID!

It seemed like the coach had that play in his back pocket, knowing they had studied the screen pass on film, perfect spot to use it.

they would have IMO---confidence that they can win the game in one play rather than risk a whole OT series again, like people have said, they couldn't stop Oklahoma and there were some close calls of their own on offense the last series.

What a game.

YES they DEFINITELY would have.

#1 - That game was for all of the marbles for them. National Respect is so important to a porgram like them, that was their National Title, not some BS bowl game.

#2 - They were not moving the ball from midway through the 2nd quarter on. Oklahoma had them figured out, hence the trick plays, etc was really all they had left at that point.

#3 - Zabranskys confidence may have been shaken at that point and Boise was struggling offensively and defensively. I mean people forget it was 4th and 18 on that hook and lateral. 4th and 18. It took a miraculous trick play to tie it and get the first down. That doesnt happen again. Not to mention that INT he threw. Boise State wasnt exactly clicking on offense. They broke out every trick play they had. Oklahoma had driven the ball right down the field to tie it, got the 2 point conversion, then come out in OT and Adrian takes it to the house 1st play. Boise could not continue to go toe-to-toe it was now or never.

#4 - The advantage Oklahoma was going to have of Boise coming back on the field, potentially no scoring, then Okie could just kick a FG, and see how well Boise did.

Best Game I've seen in ages! bet 100 at +215 on Boise, when Okla scored to make it 28-17 I quickly when to Pinnacle and got live line on Okla +192 40 to win 96 in case Okla came back as I was getting scared. When Zabranskie threw taht unforgivable INT tp make it 35-28 Boise I thought had no chance so I went outside for a smoke happy that I had covered so I only would lose 4 on game. When I came back in they were getting ready for OT and that was something even more exciting. That was the first time I ever saw that play work on the 2 pt'er. Stayed up for an extra hour to see the hook and ladder TD, never has that worked to such perfection!

It's a misleading camera angle.

I noticed that hand earlier...it was definitely close either way, from that view it looks like the ball should have been placed inside the 1 ft line...time would have been stopped with the out of bounds.

I would normally not like the call to go for two there...but in this case it didn't seem like they had a prayer of stopping the Sonners from Scoring.

The D played their balls off all night, but I think they were Toast.

SO yes, I think they go for two there even if it was for a title.
