| #6 Bastet | Improving miss woke up in her second start, which is hardly a surprise for Mott, and this attack post works too, though you wonder if Alvarado is on the live one; still, very playable. |
| Race Summary | Tab the tote on the 2 as we kick off the huge mandatory payout Empire 6, as you'd like to see her live and taking money, which would be a good indicator she's ready to fire, and if that's the case you can play her to win and place, and especially to kick off the sequence as well, as the proven runners don't look overwhelming, which means if this gal can run she'll be a real handful. |

| #1 Escape Fund | Rousing MSW debut winner freaked here last month at huge odds, which you won't see here, but the pubic might be scared by the 34-1 and stay away, and in a race loaded with speed, she has every right to settle and run them down again; call right back. |
| #9 Pop a Choc | Impressive MSW winner got to dirt and freaked for Casse, and a repeat here would make her tough, especially from the perfect outside attack post, but she won't fool them again, and with a ton of speed to her inside, doubling up won't be easy; may tire late. |
| #6 Primacy | Brown charge got the job done at 1-5 last time and will be bet hard here facing winners, and her stalking style should play out nicely, but the barn is struggling here of late, and they haven't been kicking it in in the lane like they normally do; underneath only. |
| Race Summary | You should get fair value on the 1, who you know likes it here and who should trip out too, so play her in all the slots, and especially in the mandatory payout Empire 6, as well as to kick off the late Pk5, as this is a toughie, and a win in the 8-1 range would knock a lot of tickets out, in a race where there should be a lot of spreads. |

| #2 Backsideofthemoon | Stretch runner will be a price but drew well and is another who will like the pace, so while a win may be out of reach, he can get a piece; exotics price appeal. |
| Race Summary | That 5-1 ML on the pick seems very fair, especially since he's back doing what he does best, so play him aggressively to win and place, and especially in the mandatory payout Empire 6, as well as the late Pk5/Pk4, since he looks primed for a big effort, and if he does pay $10 or so, a lot of budget tickets will be hitting the floor. |
