Stay away from parlays and teasers for the most part unless you know what you is doing you can take the tease. Why would first half and action reverses bets be bad ? I heard that Vegas does not take action reverses, is this true?
The actual odds of being able to flip a coin & call it correctly are 4-1.
The books will give you 2.65 to 1 on a 2 game parlay.
Of course you have the advantage of handicapping...but is that advantage enough to make up the difference between 4-1 & 2.65 to 1...likely not...not oven the sharpest in the workd could beat this i think?
Additionally if you want to bet on two team Parlay & both teams are not playing at the same time...ie 1pm & 8pm or Mondey night etc...
It is more benefitial to place your wager on the first team...If you win...Place entire amount on Second Team...You will make more money than you would have if you parlayed them Both...(Of course this doesnt work if games are played at same time).

SPORTSAVANT, your odds dont reflect that they will give you your bet money back as well if you win!
Or in other words, the coin flip scenario has actual odds of 3:1. Three times you wont get 2 heads and one time you will.
But going back to your example, if you three $100 2 team parlays and lose. Then you are down $300, but then you bet one and win, then you win $260 PLUS your $100 back.
The odds of a 2 team parlay are NOT NEARLY as abd as you amke them seem
I know because that is about all that I bet, and I bet them for upwards of $2000 each one
On a related story, I also bet 3 team parlays. Now the general odds of calling 3 heads in a row are 8 to 1. But that is just how people like ot refer to the odds. The true odds are 7:1 in that 7 times you wont roll 3 in a row but 1 time you will.
I am trying to figure out the math of betting two teams separately instead of a 2 team parlay. I never thought of this.
i just did a two team parlay for $50.00. My balance is $182.83 now.
If I bet the first game at $50, my balance would be 95.50 with a -110 juice.
If I take the 95.50 and bet the second game. My balance is $182.41. Where am I going wrong with my math?
Well first of all guys, check my post above. SS math isnt correct above.
But always keep this in mind. Most people talk about the parlays not paying much, but if you were to lose both games, then at least you would lose twice as much money in a 2 team parlay
