Jordan won 5. But 4 came after 91 the first year they won the championship. All those years he was dominating before his championship he got 1.

Nash has 2 and the Suns have not even won the west. Congrats Nash you join Malone as the only 2 donkeys to win multi MVP award with 0 championships.

I still love him as a player and he 1 of my favorites but just disagree with the choice.

Jordan jacked up many many many shots and dominated the game in the same way. I am not sure who he made better? He won 5 MVPs. He was considered by so many as a ball hog.

Jordan made Pippen a star.........after Jordan left in the mid 90's Pippen wasn't the dominating player anymore.

Pippen left towards the end of his career when he was old as hell. Pippen in his prime would have been an allstar where ever he played.

Jordan was known as one of the biggest shot jackers in NBA. He was arrogant and it was rumored that he was so hard on his teammates that many of them disliked him. Sound just like a few guys playing today.

If Nash was a black guy from the ghetto he'd be just another average ballplayer.

I said that clowning around. I don't know if you remember but years back (when they were still playing with the Pistons) they said that about Larry Bird. Not sure of the exact quote but said he was overrated in their opinion because he was a white guy, LOL.

If you were drafting a team out of any NBA player who would you pick first? second? I doubt Nash would be anyone's first or second pick so I agree he should not be MVP. I think of MVP as the first guy picked on the playground of pickup basketball NBA style. I am going with Duncan

Nash is the bomb, white or black or green. Definitely better than last year ! Amazing, without this guy they do not win 25 games. And just because a guy is a better player does not make him a MVP! Making everybody around you better while you yourself play up to a level of excellence is exactly why Mr. Nash is the MVP and deserves it. I think Kobe was the only other player even close this year! (I would say my man Gilbert Arenas also, but he'll be in the running soon!)

lol, you can't base who your MVP is on that criteria. I'm sure everyone has heard it before MVP is most valuable player not best player. Nash makes his teammates better and helped Phoenix get to the playoffs for the 2nd straight year. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the choice of Nash as MVP but I certainly disagree when you say the MVP is the first person picked on the playground.

...Jordan won 5 and he was the MVP of the league for a good reason. He won championships, scored 30+ when no one was doing that, and was on the team with the best record in NBA history.

MVP = most valuable player in the league...quite different than most valuable player on a team.

It is a league award not a team award. Just like defensive player of the year and rookie of the year

The biggest argument against Nash getting MVP last year was that he couldn't have pulled off that kind of season without Stoudemire.

Apparently, that argument sucks, because where was Amare this year?

he's just another average white guy from Africa. I am betting he is the first African-Canadian to win MVP

Yea thats what I am saying. Someone posted that you have to make others better and be a team player to win the MVP.

Jordan won 5 MVPs and he did not pass the ball much. He did not play much different then kobe is now or shaq in his prime.
