After reading about it the shooting seems to have nothing to do with the rioting - it was just the normal day in the life of type of shit - gentleman was robbing something - he ran - officer chased - gentleman turned around and fired off some rounds and the officer's skull - then he went and chilled with his homies - just an average day in the hood - not even newsworthy

Did the perp have his hands up saying "don't shoot"?

Yes, from what was leaked so far it seems like there is concrete proof that Brown went after the officer and tried to get his gun and there are 6 blacks they said Brown was moving towards the officer when he was shot
