It is DOMS

Delayed onset muscle soreness. It really isn't that big of a deal. Happens when you first start to workout.

Just rest, water, sleep.

I'm a little freaked cause the pain is abnormal and I can barely lift my left arm... I usually get DOMS AND it goes away in one or two days and I can still work out if I want...

Yesterday I was only able to do cardio, abs, crunches and squats, nothing involving weight (which I'm in a hurry to catch up). I'm ordering a product next week that greatly helps recovery, muscle built and drive.

Rest and take a tylenol. I have gotten it before. Light stretching or messaging the muscle feels good. It can last for up to a week.

this and what others have said.

Started working out again after a huge lay off.. got this a couple of times after thinking the day before was easy, why not try more and push it.

I had to back off for 4 days before starting up again

Immediately after a hard workout take an ice cold shower or every now and then if I think my cojones are too big I will take an ice bath to knock me back down to size.

I promise it will do wonders for soreness if you can bear it.

Can you post your workout routine

20-30 mins jogging (if on gym I use Level 2 inclination and 5-6 speed, raise it to 8 for the last 2 minutes).

3 or 4 series of the following reps:
200 abs
50 squats
50 crunches
25 arm reps
50 chest reps

I'm just starting but I will add more weight lifting and leg work, my legs are the part of my body I need to work out less, they are well balanced and well toned, always have been, I blame it on genes, my dad was a motocross champion back in the 70s/80s.

My arms and chest are the ones that need more work no doubt, been on the lazy side of weight lifiting for years.

Either ibuprofen 800 or stop being a pussy.

lmao +1000

The pain was very normal Friday and Saturday... got more intense Sunday and Monday, that's when I started to get worried... I did lots of ice and stretching yesterday, feel better today... didn't take anything

Don't workout your legs less if you wanna see quick results and make the rest of your body stronger, faster...They're the biggest muscles in the body and highly influence the growth of the upper body. Squats and deadlifts are a man's best friend...

Love squats bro! Those are basic for torso development and abs+arms are my priority!
