is Florida St in?

I doubt it with loss today. Unless MD tanks tonight they are probably on the outside at this point.

I believe Duke is FSU's only top 50 win

Big Ten is the #1 ranked RPI conference.

MSU has lost 5 of 7 I believe and has lost Gray for the season and Trannon is ???

Put the crack pipe down if you think Mich St is on the bubble. Big 10 is #1 RPI conference in the nation.
Indiana with an RPI of 35.

Florida St beat nobody except Duke this year.
eight ACC W's are Va Tech, Virginia (twice), Wake, Clemson, Ga Tech, Miami and Maryland. Best nonconf win? Nebraska. RPI is above 55.

Mich St. is in, I never disputed that. Indiana needs to win 2 at minimum, as of right now I feel very certain they would send FSU b4 Ind. As far as the RPI goes, if it ranks the Big10 as #1 RPI conf, they are way off. If one cannot see that the BigEast is not by far the strongest, and btw tell me any other conf in history that has been this strong, then the RPI is off kilter. Here is my gut feeling to boot, if Ind and FSU face off, FSU wins by 10. And yes they beat Duke who is one of top 3 teams in country. I'll give you this, didnt realize that FSU early sched was so weak - but they get in I bet. Would rather they sit and let Hofstra play.

I don't see how FSU makes it at this point. They beat NO ONE out of conference, and are relying far too much on their W over Duke. They're done.

Seton Hall, even with their 9-7 conference record, have been so shitty away from home and looked so awful against Rutgers that I don't think the committee can, in good conscience, include them over a mid-major.

Colorado-Texas A&M might be a play-in game tomorrow.

But yeah, at this point, you have to consider FSU, SHU, and Michigan as good as done. I think either Indiana OR Michigan would make it, but not both, and now that Michigan has lost to Minnesota and JUST got beat by IU AT HOME, they're out and the Hoosiers are in.

honzie- if you really feel that IU needs to win 2 at minimum, I would love to make a bet on if IU makes it into the tourney or not. Anywhere from $500-$3000 if we can post up with a well known poster.

one thing in Florida St's favor- I believe this is right, the head of the comittee is the AD from Virginia. He might be partial to ACC and FSU buried Virginia in both meetings, games this guy probably watched.

Also dont forget, FSU lost their other game vs Duke at Duke by one point in overtime where the refs completely stole the game from them. tough to leave out a 9-7 ACC team which should be 10-6 and 2-0 vs Duke

That doesn't really matter that much, yes a good loss, but it can't be turned into a win. Remember last year, when a new camera angle proved that Charlotte's Plavich didn't get his shot off in time vs Indiana when he hit the half courter, the committee didn't take that into effect.

Indy only has 17 wins right now, that is a big against. Comte loves ACC, they get 6 in at least whether its fair or not.
