Who is the national champions sam?

UVA will be hanging the banner.

They are the better team.

That's all the proof you need.

Is someone saying they didn’t win the national championship?

Why are you so butthurt by someone one who disagrees with you about something ? Willie called you and others out on a few idiotic statements, which was fair. No one is disputing who won the game lol

If Texas Tech big is healthy. They were better. They would have been favored meaning Vegas thinks they are better. What matters is Va got the W that game though

No one is arguing that the "hot" team is not factored into capping a game. But when a team being "hot" is your only reason for picking a team you are going to end up on the losing side more times than not.

UVA was the better team. No question about it. They are national champs, period.

Any argument otherwise is just sour grapes from someone who fell for the "hot" team angle. They lost their money and are mad grasping for an excuse as to why they lost.

If I had a nickle for everytime I heard from someone about why they were on the right side of a losing bet...well you know the saying.

UVA won the game in OT, needed a big three to get it into OT, got the fortuitous calls in OT, and they're national champions. They also covered because of OT

That makes them better (or at least the winner) for one shining moment.

TT played better against much better competition, UVA was the luckiest team to advance to the finals while playing against maybe the weakest opponents of anyone to ever reach the finals. the way Tech was playing down the stretch, over an extended period of time makes them the better team.

Using your one game logic, you would have to conclude that Maryland Baltimore County was "clearly the better team" in 2018. Take your win and run, stop with the nonsense

I made a ton of money on TX Tech betting them every game. Nobody can say that about VA, who was actually 1-5 ATS at the end of regulation and behind in three games in the last 13 seconds or less. Never seen before, never will happen again in our lifetimes

Virginia only won because Culver decided to have his worst shooting night that I can remember. I am not sure if any of the 5 shots he made were anything but layups. He didn't hit a single jump shot all night of the 22 he took and decides to pull up from 3 with 7 seconds left. They then set him up for yet another chance before overtime. Yet it seemed like Francis couldn't miss. The worst shooter on the court (that night) took the final two shots to win it. It's unfortunate. Good season Willie, I enjoy seeing your posts.

Blah Blah Blah...I made a ton of money betting TT as well and? What's your point? It was a pick em game so of course I didn't think UVA was going to blow TT out, I absolutely knew it was going to be a dog fight. TT was the "it" team the "hot" team. I wasn't falling for it getting UVA-1 was great value an absolute steal!

But I'll be honest what really got me feeling good about UVA was I noticed some really terrible capers here drinking that TT kool aide. I knew I had a winner then.

No doubt, they should’ve gone to one of the hot hands off the bench, or at least had Culiver make a play to the bucket instead of pull up from 3.

Pretty spot on with all this.

Reality is as great as March Madness is, it’s the worst postseason contest of the major sports in terms of determining who the “best” team is. There was and is much reason to believe Texas Tech is better than UVA. Personally I think UVA is a nice top 5-7 team, which is all you need to be to win this thing.

The last possession of regulation, you drive and put pressure on the defense and the officials. God knows they love to make game winning calls :)

“Hot” teams always cracked me up. Just some advice...do not argue with me with this “hot” team stuff I will make you look very stupid. Just goes to show though 2019 and new sheep will come about thinking the “hot team” always wins lol.

I don’t know why anyone isn’t saying UVA was hot? They were HOT ALL season. Is it because Tech was “hotter?” Lmfaoooooo.

Let me say this..... sheep use this word to describe what they are seeing. That’s literally ALL it means.

Because listen I will prove the “hot team” as a myth with many examples but all I need is one....

2007. The New England patriots are 18-0 going for 19-0.

So tell me experts.....how is it when the Giants won they all of a sudden were “Hot”!!!!! Even though they were 9-7 lmfao.

How is a 9-7 team more hot than a 18-0 team????!!!!! Makes no fucking sense.

But that’s what the public sheep went with..... Giants were hotter.....because they won.

All it is is a way for people to describe to other people what they are seeing in a very simple sports minded approach to the game.

Anybody who finds themselves discussing which team is "hotter" is a losing bettor and should stop betting anything more than recreational amounts of money.

And should certainly not share opinions to try to "help" people unless they are comfortable being fade material.

This is fact.

The “hot player.” The “hot team”. Is a myth. Form isn’t an indication of future success.

Yall can learn a lot for me too bad you guys are stubborn as fuck and in denial. But at least be appreciative even if you don’t want everyone to know just PM me. It’s all good. I’ve been talking about this stuff since 2010. The sheep have no clue.

Lol I wouldn't trust the officials in this tournament if you're playing UVA

They'll conveniently forget what a double dribble is.

My favorite call what when Kyle Guy fell down and turned the ball over when Texas Tech was up 3 in OT.....and they called a foul on a guy that didn't touch him.

But yes....Culiver absolutely should've driven to the bucket and at least tried to drive contact/dish it out to one of those hot shooters. As iffy as the officials were, you can't make excuses for bad decision-making (see Auburn fouling a three-point shooter when up 2 in previous game, after that atrocious double-dribble miss)
