Ami Ayalon is one of the Geneva Initiative founders. This is an extreme left movement that calls for Israel to unilaterally evacuate all of the WB. Israel tried this in Gaza already and the body count is still rising. A similar move in the WB would be 10X more dangerous than that. AS in, forget about landing a plane safely anywhere in Israel.

Military to military cooperation and intelligence sharing is at the highest level. There are ideological differences and personality clashes that will be repaired when the next US admin comes in. The US State Dept has always been unfair to Israel. There will always be differences. But the differences only appear to be augmented by the fact that the countries are so similar. IOW when you have 2 liberal democracies where voices of dissent are not quashed everyone gets a say, someone will always print it, and someone else will usually post it. Either the Iranian people will overthrow the regime, or the regime will continue to force its form or strict sharia on the rest of the world be whatever means it can. That includes financing terror states and murder plots around the world. And building a nuclear bomb.

I don't think Israel or the Sunni States have the capacity to fully demolish the Iran nuclear program through an air attack. Pretty sure the US does.

I'm no expert on weapons inspection but I'd think it would be hard for Iran to hide a full scale nuke operation for very long before intelligence got wind of it.

The main thing is they will be flush for smaller-scale terrorism financing with Hezbollah and whatever start-up terrorist organizations are coming down the pipeline.

If they didn't overthrow the regime by now, they won't in the future. Their standing of living is about to get better.

At the same time, key decisions by the EU require unanimous approval by all 28 members. This means that sanctions could not be reimposed unless all of Europe went along, at a time when a new gold rush of European companies wooing Iran is underway.
