i just dont really need it.

why would i use it for the internet? i have faster internet at work and home.
why would i use it for an app? covers my first question. full sites are better anyways.
why would i use it for movies? granted its a brilliant screen, but its too small to watch movies and content on.

unless you have no internet at home its pointless, unless you cant live without an internet connection.

It's a bad idea.

My wife would be calling me every 30 mins if I have one.

I never have a cell phone, never plan to buy one, I can't be any happier.

I couldn't imagine being without one...it does so much for me and my business being constantly connected to the net on the go. My smart phone helps me put money in my pocket - as long as it is doing that I will continue to have one.

The flight/airport apps save you money and time in the long run.

There is even a NBA.Com app (free).

I agree. When I break it down my smart phone pays for itself.

If you're in sales, a iphone is priceless. You really need to open your eyes a little more here GTC.

My iPhone assists me in being a great broker. It is priceless to me and my brokerage. If it cost me 2500.00 a month I'd have to pay it. I feel the minute price of 130.00 a month is the single most cost effective tool in my arsenal.

if you live in mommy's basement, I guess a smart phone would be a waste of money

1. that 2 year hostage contract allowed me to get a 400 dollar phone for only 50 bucks.

2. I am paying 30 bucks a month, not sure how you are getting 85. Then again, I don't stay on the phone long at all.

3. unless you are watching online porn or a streamed movie while in traffic, you're not burning through that allotment any time soon. If you are listening to music, put it on a cd or mp3 player.

4. It serves as a 200 dollar gps instrument, as a 200 dollar mp3 player, and a pretty decent camera. All for 50 bucks and a 2 year plan.

5. Apps are all free if you know how to jailbreak. The barcode scanner and other apps are just fantastic.

6. People can be downstairs or in the backyard using their wifi and surfing the web if they don't want to sit on the computer. No megabyte usage either as long as you have wifi enabled.

I used to hate cell phones, but smart phones have converted me.

I use to think this way because I took my laptop with me Everywhere ...
But like other said... you could be in your backyard , out to Dinner... anywhere at you have Everything at your Fingertips and Don't have to carry a laptop with you.

Now of course I will still bring my Laptop with me when say, going on a Trip ....
but if I'm laying at the pool or on the Bench ... I have a Smartphone with me :)

And a Big Plus for me is because a Android phone has Flash, and I will be able to have Sportsoptions on my Phone and never Miss anything ! :103631605

Can you see how us in sales would need it? I share my plan with a friend and it costs me 90/month unlimited. Time is money also.
