Hello Shrink. Glad to see General's "SHRINK is away" didn't mean you were beyond the reach of a computer. No spin intended on my part. I guess we can let the readers judge if the sarcasm was there or not. And I even understand how playing a game with revealing who is or was a paid poster might be considered "fun" if generating hits and traffic is the goal.

But my questions and motives were sincere. I do think it is important to know who is and who isn't paid to post. Looking forward to your response.

You challenged the Shrink to make the bet in post 1 of this thread. In post #6, the Shrink declined the bet, even apologized by saying...

"truthteller, in the spirit of the bet, I'd have lost since the RX did pay him, which I had forgotten about...

In the letter of the law, I never made one payment to him...

...and in post #10 of this thread, you even acknowledged that you assumed the Shrink was declining the bet. So why do you keep posting here and at MW that the Shrink is not paying the bet? In all fairness, you should post here, and at MW, that the Shrink did not accept your bet and therefore he is under no obligation to pay you anything!

Yes, I did say it seems he is declining my bet after he said he would welcome any bet. My problem is not in the declining of itself but declining after he said he would welcome any bet.
After all he said he is a man of his word.

First, the title of the thread I stated, "Anyone who wants to believe this tumor, can bet with me at Pinny for whatever amount they want, period..."

Shrink, with all due respect I think you are the one spinning. I bet you on the following quote

As we all now know he was indeed paid to post here. About the ghosting I do believe he wasn't paid to do that.

But TT, you are challenging Shrink to bet you that JJ was not paid by the RX, and the Shrink was saying that he never paid JJ one penny. That is 2 different things. Shrink rightly remembered that he never paid JJ to post; and he forgot that the Rx had paid JJ for whatever activities, among which you might consider posting. So both of you are right. Do you want to bet whether the Shrink actually paid JJ any money? If so, you lose. And while you challenged the Shrink to bet after JJ admitted getting money, (this is sorta like past-posting which is anathema to everyone involved in sports betting), the Shrink never accepted that bet. So if you won't apologise to the Shrink, which I believe you should, afterall he apologised to you, at least have the decency to knock off this persistent whining about how you deserve to be paid for a bet that was never consummated. It's like me saying "I do" to Xpanda, and therefore expecting my marriage to her to be consummated. You have a bet with Shrink as much as I have a marriage to Xpanda!

FWIW shrink pay truthteller the nickel and move on. Your wrong. You made the offer..someone accepted it and it was proven( he was paid, end of story, spin it all you want). Pay the guy the nickel..it ain't going too dent your pocket. :103631605
