I agree, if WE means our families....I take care of my babies and will help take care of my parents (and in laws) if and when needed just as they helped us. I encourage all to help others with charity, lending a hand, etc on THEIR terms, not because Robin Hood stole it and gave it to them. I'm guessing you are not a liberal but the average liberal does scream things like everyone should be taken care of up UNTIL it is THEIR money you want to use to do so.
A staunch conservative, but have seen the effects by insurance companies pricing people out of the market. Nothing will change until there is insurance and health care reforms. And how congressmen/women get free healthcare for life but the servicemen/women can't, that's a sin.
In a Perfect World sharing this commitment would be a Pre-Requisite to being elected to Office, a Mandatory Belief that if Betrayed (not totally adhered to) once in Office an elected official would be immediately booted out of Office.
So many things I no longer understand, can no longer figure out and how we can place what we do as priorities above those who have served: sending $221 Million to Palestine, $1.07 Billion to Iran (or whatever it was)....all while we sit amid this Devastating Failure that is our VA System
that has contributed to so many Veterans taking their own lives
