after a films session of disecting the game, its obvious that bill was out coached. man, that was pretty bad and highly unusual from him. people are starting to talk about his attitude also and this loss is probably his fault and one of his worst coaching jobs ever. maybe the game has now passed him by and the rest of the league has caught on. this could be the last game of his coaching career with the pats.

Fired, never happened.
He's a god in Boston, and even though by all accounts Bill has lost his fastball, he leaves on his own terms.
I don't care for him much either, funny, I just read what Modell said about him.
He said, (and he's been in the buisiness, what? 60 years?)
Belicheck is a son of bitch PR wise.
By far, the worst man public relations wise in NFL history.
(Modell's words)

But fired.
Not now.
Even if Caldwell was jacked up on coke when he dropped that sure TD.

As long as Belichick continues to win he most likely won't get the ax. In front of the media he is the biggest jerk imaginable. No wonder he is so despised by some. If he starts to lose though watch out. The fans will turn on him quickly just because he comes off as so unlikeable.

He is head and shoulders the best coach in football he has done more with less than anybody ever could.
There were guys that I never even heard of playing in the game on D because injury and dehidration.
And they were 1 first down away from going to another SB.

PR guy he isn't, all the PR coaches like Billick and Gruden are usually playg golf in Jan.

guy is brilliant....he knew early on he was gonna need points...went for 2 4th downs in the 1stq, including a 4th and 6 and got his team out in front...

manning was the man last night simple as that....

never in a million years did i think he could lead them back after the 1st 25minutes of that game

Billick and Gruden? They both have rings on their fingers. You could have at least tried to make your point by naming coaches that have not won Super Bowls. Now go cut the sleeves off of your sweatshirt like Bill and count down the days until pitchers and catchers report.

I hope you're kidding...the game has not passed him by, for New England to have been back here in the AFC Final , this was a team that appeared to be headed nowhere in about week 12...the defense was awful halfway thru the season....if anything this was one of his best seasons.....I know you're kidding anyway.

Bill could use a new wardrobe on the sidelines and be a little more creative when he does a post game interview , or don't do them at all.

The prevent defense that was employed from the last 2:00 of the first half on lies directly on the shoulders on Bill. But playing with a huge lead in pro sports is not a good thing.Lots of reasons the Pats lost yesterday.Weak defense in the third and half of the fourth major factor. But lets not discount who actually handed the game to the Colts....the refs.No question horrible.

No pass interference call on TD toss Pats settle for three. (theres 4 points right there)

Refs move ball inside 10 for Colts on magical roughing the passer call.

Pick play called on Brown was also a pile of sheet.

Caldwells drops also major factor.

To lay the loss on Belichek is ridiculous.Colts/Manning simply took what the soft Pats defense gave them. All the D's intensity drained after building the 18 point lead and it showed.

His clock management at the end of the game is reason enough to give him the axe.

We need to start holding these dumb coaches accountable for their STUPID, IDIOTIC, in-game decision-making.

Folks, we're not even talking about play-calling, gameplan, etc. We're talking about a pretty simple concept -- knowing when to stop the clock. For this reason, yes, Belichick should be fired!!

good god - lose one wager, and now the top Head Coach in football should be fired and 'axed.'

Give Belichick the Chargers of this year and they would have DOMINATED.

The Pats lost Seau, Wilson, Harrison to injury on defense.

They lost their top 2 wide receivers on offense.

They were down to their 6th linebacker

They were down to their 5th safety

and they STILL almost made it.

If he got fired, I bet he could make $8 million per year.

If people hire Mangini, Weis, Saban and Crennel because they worked for Belichick, imagine how much people would pay for BIG DADDY himself.

Saban got $25 million from the Dolphins and $32 million from Alabama ... so what does Belichick get?

I think he must be in with the "boys" now! Look at his last game against the Colts that they lost. The whole world KNEW to run against the Colts as they had the worst rush defense EVER in week 9. So what did he do? PASS_PASS_PASS! Does that tell you anything?

I think they wait to fire Belichick and wait to hire the guy with 9 pro bowlers that Belichick beat last week on the road.
