College Fan you are right any coach should be fired for mismanaging the game clock. Just like Mike Martz should have been fired immediately following loss to Carolina couple years back.

Yes, Bill has won in NE, but it is Tom Brady, that is the reason. Look at Bellichoke's record without Brady and with him. Why the hell did suck ass in Cleveland. This is the same guy that cut Kosar for Vinny Intercepterverde. Bill's record is under.500 without Brady. I believe it was Mo Lewis who started the Pats run, if the Statue of Liberty were not injured the Pats go nowhere that season.

I am not saying he isn't a defensive genius, but everyone said NE would go no where without the FAT Toad coaching their offense, well Brady has still been great with Troy Brown and 2 guys you wouldn't even pick to play flag football with. Tom Brady is the single most important reason for Bill's success. He completely mismanaged the game clock and there is no excuse. The damn prevent the victory defense that everyone deploys cost him 3 points at the end of the half.

Without Brady, Kraft would have already been on a new coach! There is no excuse for the Mark Richt's, Glen Mason's, Les Miles, and Bill Bellichoke's to mismanage the game clock. Coaching 101.

after a films session of disecting the game, its obvious that bill was out coached. man, that was pretty bad and highly unusual from him. people are starting to talk about his attitude also and this loss is probably his fault and one of his worst coaching jobs ever. maybe the game has now passed him by and the rest of the league has caught on. this could be the last game of his coaching career with the pats.

I think its a fantastic idea to fire him. Then next year when Marty folds again in the first round, the Chargers can hire Bellichick and win the next four superbowls!

TIME OUT!

IS this thread a joke? Seriously I am not sure.

Of course it is. If it isn't a joke its a joke, and if it is a joke, it's a funny joke.

He only got to the AFC final 4 times in 6 years. He managed the clock well by me, because if ever they got to red zone they would have had 3 chances, and not only 2 because of spiking the ball twice. He was hoping to give his team 1 more attempt at the TD

You can disagree, its a close decision between that and TO earlier, easier to get to the red zone and maybe have 1 attempt at the TD, its like a close decision in poker, maybe that was marginally or somewhat worse, but yeah, lets axe him. He's a complete joke of a coach and i lost 2 dimes on them blablabla get a grip.

Outcoached? The Patriots were never behind in this game until 1 minute left in the game. Honestly only way I think Indi won this game is the Pats defense was obviously still feeling aftereffects of the flu.

looks like Jerry Jones wants to make a run at him courtesy of profootballtalk

League and media sources tell us that the early scuttlebutt regarding a replacement is focused on Chargers defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and Patriots coach Bill Belichick. We wouldn't be surprised in the least to learn that owner Jerry Jones is making a run at Belichick

Belichick Has Them Playing Well
by Jon Scott of PatriotsInsider.com, January 20, 2012 at 11:29 am ET

Bill Belichick Profile

Oddsmakers have indicated that a Patriots - Giants rematch is highly likely to occur after the results of this weekend are in. If that's the case, then a quick look at how the teams are playing in the postseason may shed some light on why that rematch is so likely.

The New York Giants are averaging 7.57 yards on first downs in the playoffs, second to only the New England Patriots (8.83). On the other side of the ball, the Giants' defense is allowing 3.88 yards per play on first down, which is second to the Patriots, who are allowing 2.48 yards per play.

Contrary to 2007 -- the year the Giants deeated New England in the Super Bowl -- New England's defense is also the top ranked unit. The Patriots entered the playoffs with the 31st ranked defense, slightly better than the Packers (32) who were dismantled by the Giants in the Division Round.

Is Belichick concerned that the Giants may be on the horizon? Does he even care?

"We don't really care too much about what's happened in the past," Belichick told reporters. "We've won some, we've lost some, but right now this team is focused on the Ravens."

In typical Patriot fashion, Belichick has already started the spin cycle on who could potentially be an even more hyped game than Super Bowl XLII.

The two fat Bills, (Parcells the other) came up with the perfect SB game plan to beat Kelly's Bills.
He's OK by me just for that
