Winner yesterday
37-30 PTD
No play tonight. The line is the same as the difference in power ratings. No edge.

What I'm about to post will NOT count in the record for this thingy we are tracking. I posted it on my home board and thought I'd share it here.

Anyone who follows the Cs closely knows why they lost that game monday night. The Paul Pierce disease. One on one basketball.
Pierce learned his bad habit when he played on the lousy Celtic teams. Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker took ALL the shots. After Walker's departure it was Pierce alone.
Then came Garnett and Allen. Pierce had to share the ball. Garnett also demanded that he play defense. Then came Rondo. Do you know what plagued the Cs during the regular season this year? It was handing the mantle to Rondo to run the offense. The Big Three didn't want to do it. ESPECIALLY Paul Pierce, who likes to take the ball up and create his own offense. But that's not team basketball. That's not winning basketball. That's for losers.
I'm sure you've noticed how dominating they can be when they allow Rondo to play his role fully.
But Paul Pierce cut his teeth and learned his bad, selfish habits on losing teams. Sometimes he forgets the winning formula 'cause his highlight reels are reduced in that winning formula.
So when Paul Pierce went off early on monday night (19 first half points) I knew that there was a good chance that he would become the whole damned offense in the second half. Sure enough. And when he got tired, bent over, and continued his one on one I knew there was a good chance we were cooked. Sure enough. An interesting offshoot of Pierce's greed was that when Rondo did get the ball outa Pierce's hands, he himself stopped distributing the ball and tried to create way too much one on one offense.
Losing formula monday night. But here's the thing. I heard Rivers in the post game press conf identifying that exact problem. He will get their heads back on straight when they get to Orlando. The series ends tonight.

I copied what I wrote in yesterday's POD thread.
The only thing that bothers me is the two day rest for those old Green legs. But I'm countin' on Doc to use his bench a bit more than normal tonight. Big Baby has limitless energy, especially for a big man. Wallace is well rested. Tony Allen is young and can run all day.
Green Beans +4
Good luck guys.
